I basically read everything er cuz well we know why.....BUT if I were voting with my dollars it'd be the X-Books, Batbooks, the JLA books.

    I'd be pretty broke!

The rest that I read is basically out of force of habit.

I really REALLY like Talon, I like the whole Court of Owls story line. The artwork has been cool and the story has its twists and turns. I am eager to find out where they will go and what larger role Talon may have in the DCU. I like that over the last 2 issues Batman has made cameos.

With Damian Wayne RIP, and suposedly another Court of Owls war due to go down in Batman I am hoping Talon and Bats team up.

So here I was, ready to write-off Marvel Now's Thunderbolts... I even disabled my auto-renewal last night w/o having read issue #'s 7 & 8, man was that a mistake... Sat down and started to read #7 and from the first page was immersed in the story.

Phil Noto's art has turned this title around in one issue.

Of the big two I'm reading Uncanny X-Men, All New X-Men and I'll read the upcoming all women X-men. Batman, Batwoman and Catwoman is all I got on the DC side.

Batman # 20 was good, the 2nd part of the Superman/Batman story was a little goofy though and tried to be too heartfelt, ugh...

Interested to read what the zero year is going to be all about, but honestly I don't want a new origin or a go back in time event, I want Batman to continue from the point of Court of Owls, Death/Family, and Robin RIP.... what's the point of going back in time now?

I think it's basically going to just go back and look at how he became Batman and then they'll go back to the current status quo.

I really like the updating of the Bat Villains that Snyder has done and he's also added a piece to the mythos with the Court of Owls. I'm hoping that that notion isn't thrown under the rug once his run with Batman is over.

It's an 11 issue story so the status quo isn't coming back for quite some time. Will only have Dective Comics and Batman & -whoever is filling in for/as Robin that month-.

Jeez, I knew it was a big storyline but not something that'd basically eat up a year's worth of comics.

Thanks for the info though as I have confidence Snyder will bang out a great story.

Come to think of it...it's actually 12. It started in Batman #0.

I will have to go back and read Batman #0, that's the one where a group of thugs were robbing a bank and the leader of said thugs was the same guy that Harley dressed up as in her Death of the Family appearance when Batman goes to the ACE chemical plant?

Yea...didn't know it was 11 issues either. I have faith it will be a good story too. Wonder if it will tie into the Arkham Origins game? Was hoping though w/ Bats now having appeared in Talon a couple times that there would be some linkage in their respective titles.

Picked up some New Teen Titans and Tales of TT books at the show. Most notably got a 1st Nightwing App/Deathstroke origin - Tales of Teen Titans #44 for $20 bucks, real nice copy too, clean cover/pages, would like to get it graded.

Thinking about going to a con coming up here, just waiting for the panels to be announced. Would be neat to get my first appearance of Rhino signed by Stan Lee.

In anticipation of the June 14 release of the new Superman movie, DC Entertainment has declared Wednesday, June 12, Man of Steel Day.

Sponsored by Sears, the event will see comic shops and bookstores give away copies of All-Star Superman Special Edition #1 by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely. Not so coincidentally, June 12 also marks the debut of Superman Unchained, the new DC Comics series by Scott Snyder and Jim Lee launched to coincide with director Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. That first issue you’ll have to pay $4.99 for (it comes with a two-sided poster).

All-Star Superman #1 also will be available for free download that day, with hundreds of other Superman digital titles offered for 99 cents each as part of a “Superman 201” sale on the DC online storefront, the DC Comics app and across all digital platforms.

Also with regards to the previous movie spoiler that would've wrecked everything...
