I was thinking about picking up a Ms. Marvel; her character is pretty cool. Anyone been reading that title?
The interior art is kinda ugly IMO.

As for Ms. Marvel, it's not a bad title though it's undergone a bit of an attitude change in the last couple or so issues. It had a more serious though still slightly humorous bent before but now there's a little more of a kooky vibe to it. Ms. Marvel has a pretty good surrounding cast around her and this arc of her not being able to use her powers effectively because of a medical condition is pretty interesting. Captain America made a guest appearance last issue IIRC.

      Batman & Robin was amazing

      Nuff said!

Though I can't see how they can continue that title. I'm hoping that was the last issue.

I really enjoyed Scott Snyder's issue this week as well though that Harper character has the potential to become a Mary Sue....Hopefully that doesn't happen.

I read Batman and then got Batman & Robin after seeing all these fantastic reviews but didn't read that one yet. It's not the last issue. Though it's VERY clear how it's going to continue after reading Batman. Especially the last 2 pages.

Just got around to World's Finest from last week. Really liked the scene with Huntress visiting Robin's grave.

I gotta check the mail to see if my Batman, Cap, and Hulk have come. I was so ticked I hadn't gotten those issues earlier in the week.

            Bendis on AU:

As described in the book itself age of Ultron is happening in 616 reality in the here and now. *it is not in the future, it is not an alternative reality, it is not a trick, dream or imaginary tale…except that they are all imaginary tales :-)*unlike some stories, we purposely dropped you into the story after some horrible things that already happened including what happened to black widow’s eye. *leaving it up to your horrible violent imagination.

Well if they're serious about AU having lasting effects to the Marvel U than I applaud them for it but I also have the feeling that it'll end in a big whimper or at least the big changes will be like what happened with the X-Men in that the inherent mutant/human becoming more strident and intense rather than a cold war-like status quo.

I guess it's a good thing i'm willing to stick around and read AU then.

Apparently some chatter about the secret ending to AU bringing a character into the Marvel U that they had to license from another company.

Dr. Who to undo all the damage? Miracle Man (who Marvel bought a few years ago) ? The Flash going to unwind time for Marvel?

I guess it's not much of a spoiler anymore, it's in headlines everywhere and even made the New York Times. Apparently Angela will be appearing in a context that's being compared to the after-credits scene in the movies.

This marks Neil Gaiman's return to the Marvel U, and she'll be in Guardians of the Galaxy #5 that he is co-writing. She'll be all over the Marvel U over the course of this next year.

Bendis insists this didn't spoil any of how AU ends, bigger surprises to come.

Wonder if they'd make Pym and Ultron into the same entity, though that'd potentially mess up parallels with the cinematic universe. I suppose that might not matter if they're really following the Irredeemable Ant Man story?

Though I like Gaiman, unfortunately, I do not like the Cosmic stuff so I won't be reading his GOTG work.

Anyone done the prequel series to the watchmen? They are not done by Alan Moore but i was thinking of starting with them.

They are of varying quality IMO ranging from pretty good to a bit of a bore. The best ones IMO were in descending order:

                              Nite Owl
                              Rorschach
                              Silk Spectre
                              The Minute Men

The rest are middling with The Comedian one being a bit of a cluster&%^&% for me though it did start off well with the first two issues being pretty interesting. Dr. Manhattan's mini was a bit on the complicated side to me but was overall interesting.
