Personally I'm loving DC Rebirth. I'm keeping up with 12 different titles right now.

And I'm also reading Spider-Man/Deadpool. So great.

I'm liking some of the Superman stuff but im so disappointed in Marvel it's hard to get excited with the medium in general.

I really LOVE what DC is doing going back to basics but adding some new and interesting stuff. It really has me interested in the majority of the DC line compared to before where it was more of a force of habit thing even with the Bat Books.

As I said before Marvel has really screwed the pooch with too many events. They've basically alienated their fanbase with all these events and rather uninspiring stories. A podcast I listened to basically implied that the higher ups at Marvel don't give a damn about the comics side of the company and have all their eggs on the movie side.

That's too bad. When I was a kid, Marvel was the only thing I read.
I'd read the odd Justice League and Superman books, but more or less, I really liked most of the Marvel line-up.

What ever happened to the Bendis Spiderman arc? Those were fantastic books.
I think they were the Ultimate Spiderman?
          Really great writing and art.

I've tried to convince my son to like Marvel.
Despite my best efforts, he has no interest in the Spiderman books or characters. I don't know why, but the recent books don't interest him.
He only wants to read DC books. He's really enjoying the Rebirth line and loves the Injustice series.

Just start at the beginning of Rebirth. There's like 4 issues of Superman and 4 issues of Action Comics. However, since it just started they haven't really explained anything yet.

FWIW, the titles I'm following are Action Comics, Aquaman, Batman, The Flash, Green Arrow, Green Lantern Corps, Green Lanterns, Justice League, Nightwing, Superman, Titans, and Wonder Woman.

I'm a little overwhelmed. I've been put of the loop for several years so I missed Flashpoint, the new 52, etc. So I should just start with rebirth? I think I'll follow Batman, Action Comics and Justice League.

It's definitely best if you just start with Rebirth. Flashpoint triggered the reboot of the DCU which led to The New 52 which was a flawed reboot right from the beginning. DC Rebirth has kept a few elements of The New 52 around in terms of what occurred but by and large it's wiping most of the slate clean for the characters involved. The big thing about Rebirth is that Kid Flash has regained his memories of everything before Flashpoint and is trying to find out who (or what) was behind the warping of and erasing of everyone's memories prior to Flashpoint. It's not nearly as confusing as it sounds and it's summed up well in the DC Rebirth book that opened up this new era.

I guess I'm old school and would have preferred to see Dr. Manhattan and the Watchmen universe left as a separate continuity. Not that continuity is a real thing anymore...

O the rebirth has been great. At the beginning I was like I will try to limit myself to 5 a week but the problem is I tried giving all the issues a try and having a hard time picking. I think last Wednesday alone I ended up with 9 comics. I think the only ones I haven't read are the new superman and the Constantine one. Which I Might still pick that one up.

So pretty much I decided to go back to donating plasma to pay for this.

For the superman comics I have enjoyed the superman series more than the action comic but neither really have hit on the previous superman thing. But if I had to guess I would think action will be most likely to go into it.
