Is Nolan and gang signed on for a third film? I could see him just saying forget it without The Joker AND Two Face in #3.

Seems like a third film with just Two Face would be stretching the whole storyline too thin, unless they introduce Robin or focus more on Gordon.

Maybe not a big deal, but i remember when they announced Heath Ledger as the Joker. I was somewhat skeptical, but after hearing insiders talk and now seeing the trailers, it looks like he did a phenomenal job. It doesnt even sound like him when he says "Why so serious?" and "Hit me" in the trailers.

Its a shame for so many bigger reasons, but he had definitely molded into the part of the Joker and looks to have done an awesome job.

Nolan is harldy a fool try a master director! I would have to agree with him Penguin is a much harder to make believable.

At the time when the Penguin was rumored to be in the movie, Bob Hoskins appeared as a fan favorite. He stated that he would have loved to portray the role and work with Christopher Nolan, calling him a fantastic director. Nolan then stated he had no intention of using the Penguin, calling him a too far-fetched character.

I would like to see the Scarecrow come back (again) for the third film. It has been rumored that Selina Kyle might make (or made) a cameo for TDK, so its possible that Catwoman could be introduced in the third film.

I think Nolan is signed on for 3 and Bale has said that he will be Batman as long as Nolan is directing.

As for Robin, Nolan said when he was first attached that the Boy Wonder will not be included in this trilogy.
