This guys look almost has that sadistic Joker look to me.......look at the kids face, he means serious business.

It will be a long time before anyone tops Ledger's Joker trying to play the same role. You miss the guy even more after seeing his performance as the Joker and if he doesn't win some kind of Oscar for his performance, than something is wrong. He literally ripped Joker right out of the pages of the comic books.

That movie was certainly epic, and just the Joker's character makes you want more. Everytime he was off screen you just wished he was back. And it was frightening to see how real his character was. I didnt ever feel like it was an act being put on, but that this guy could be out there. He was chilling, funny, and maniacal at once..

I wonder if Ledger didn't die if he was going to be back in the next one? I wonder what the plans were for Ledger and the Joker roll before he passed away?

I don't know but he killed that role. He really was a great actor and he was young at that!

My guess, yes, he would have been in a sequel, but not used the same way. Otherwise, you have the exact same movie again. I would guess a much, much smaller role.

I wonder who the next Villian to come into play. Poison Ivy or The Riddler or maybe Mr. Freeze. They may even introduce Catwoman.

I highly doubt we'll ever see Poison Ivy or Mr. Freeze.

I would look at Riddler or Penguin. If they go Penguin, it won't be Tim Burton's version for sure. Riddler seems too much like The Joker, not sure how to fit him in.

That's funny. I was thinking the same thing. The Riddler and THe Joker's dismeanors would almost be the same. It wierd if you really think about it because who ever the decide to use its going to be a darker version. How was Tim Burton's Penguin?

That's kind of what I said in an earlier post, and I definitely agree.

Well I saw it last night and I was very impressed...their was some terrible editing, IMO, in a few instances but nothing to take away from the brilliance of the film.

As I knew he would, Ledger knocked it out of the park. His Joker was one the best cinema characters I have seen in my entire life.

The rest of the cast was great as well, but I think Gary Oldman really took the cake in terms of supporting players.

The only thing I'm disappointed in is how much of my scene was cut from the movie.

Zekey was an extra in the movie, that you could clearly see in the trailer and the movie, during the Dent fundraiser scene.
