Anyway, pretty good episode. Sylar wasn't who I thought it was, at all. Thank you IMDB.

Not a lot of big revelations, but it filled in some gaps and puts Claire's father back in the shady area with me.

Yea same here, the directors for Heroes definately threw us viewers a curveball with the IMDB info. I was telling my wife "there is no way that can be Sylar, I saw which actor it is going to be on IMDB" LOL.

EDIT: LMAO, now IMDB decides to change who is playing Sylar, http://imdb.com/name/nm0704270/

They probably could not get signed who they had listed originally. I would have preffered the guy they had us thinking it would be. He is much more menacing looking.

I think I preferred it that way though Boltman. I mean, those of us that looked thought we knew, but it came as a surprise to everybody.

I like the man they chose.

The other actor would have been more menacing looking, but I think that would have been a bad description of Sylar.

After last night's episode, it's pretty clear that Sylar is more sick and twisted than evil and menacing. He's just a guy that always wanted to be different and has now become obsessed with either being the only one or carrying out Suresh's dream by getting rid of the "broken" people.

Yes. I really like his character and how they made him into the villain. I was somewhat upset last night, but at the end it all came together for me.

Isn't Sylar like all great comic book villains?

The great ones aren't the monsters that people want them to be. They are usually the regular people that became obsessed over something and want to carry out this goal that just conflicts with the good side.

Considering this show seems to have some ties to X-Men, I can't help but think of Magneto. A regular guy that was actually friends with Professor Xavier and in the scheme of things isn't really that evil. He really just wants mutants to be accepted like other regular people. It's the negative force against mutants that forces him to act violently against humans.

There was one thing that REALLY bothered me about last nights episode.

Why the heck did they bring up the connection between the brothers after the accident... only to not have Nathan seriously question how his brother knew the accident was caused by a truck. Dreams or no dreams... with his type of personality, Nathan should have IMMEDIATELY thought Peter was involved in "accident."

You're not a trusting individual... then your brother, who wasn't there, tells you a detail that NO ONE could have possibly known....?

I was shocked he accepted the "dreams" reasoning without question... didn't fit well, IMO.

I'll give you another loose end they did not explain and seemed wrong. When Suresh shows up at "Sylars" place and asks him his name, the Clock repair guy pulls a "the usuall subjects" and looks to the watch to pull the name "Sylar" out of his arse.

If thats the case, we all saw that Suresh had post its of all the people he was looking for, they had names and adresses on them. How the hell did he buy that guys name of Sylar if by then he surely had his true name.

I think you have to put that scene in perspective. When Peter tells Natehan about the dream, Nathan is in the hospital after an accident where his wife was seriously injured and where he just flew for the first time. I find it very believable that someone in that state of mind would just disregard that detail at the moment.

I'm really showing the nerd side of me but that isnt Magneto's goal. That is Professor X's goal. Magneto sees mutants as the evolutionary next step and believes that Mutants should be superior.

I get your point about Sylar though.

He didn't tell Suresh that his name was Sylar... he told Brian Davis that his name was Sylar. Suresh called him Gabriel.
