Re: Global Warming Never Felt So Good

Speaking of Global Warming, we're going from a high of 72 on Saturday, to a high of 36 tomorrow.

There is nothing politcal here, and no i have not turned a blind eye to anything. Read the entire thread, I've stated my case.

Mars is heating up... ice caps are melting.. care to explain how that isn't factual evidence as well?

I haven't done any research, so please correct me if I'm wrong... but isn't the surface of Mars much more susceptible to solar radiation b/c they just don't have the atmosphere to reflect a lot of the radiation back into space? So to say ice on Mars is melting, doesn't equate to ice melting on Earth.

Yeah, CJ. Yesterday and today, the temps have been in the upper 70's and low 80's, but by Friday, it's supposed to be in the mid 50's.

That's a pathetic way to live life. We may all die before this affects the world heavily but what about the future generations? We have a responsibility to preserve our world for the next generations.

I suppose we should just get rid of our military and let anyone invade our country because I mean heck, we're all gonna die anyway.

Mars is a completely different planet with completely different conditions that cannot be compared to Earth.

I wonder what happened to that.

I just don't like the label global warming for one. And I have nothing against scientists but it's tiring hearing how everyone is going to die in a hundred years or however long it is now, because ourselves and how there's going to be 15 hurricanes and getting a single one, etc.

good point. i had forgotten about all the gloom and doom folks saying how 06 would be devastating because of all the hurricanes caused by global warming.

not sure the exact years but there is some evidence the hurricanes increase every so many years. if you look back at hurricanes back in the 50s or 60s you will find that hurricanes increased for a while then settled back down.
