I bought a D-Brand for my Nexus 6P and I don't find it to be slick at all. Gives me a great grip on the phone.

Re: iPhone Discussion Thread
So I have owned an iPhone ever since the very first one. Two years ago I left iPhone and got a Note 4 and last year I got a Nexus 6P. My 6P is still great, but I like having new things and I am thinking about going back to iPhone and getting an iPhone 7 Plus. I thought about getting a Google Pixel XL, but since AT&T doesn’t carry it and no telling when they will if ever, I am thinking about switching. I figured two years away, things would seem fresh and then next year when I upgrade I’ll look at iPhone 8 or Pixel XL (2).
Is there anything you guys who have switched miss from Android? I know main things I miss from iPhone is better apps, iMessage and how smooth everything is and seems to work.Comment

However, definitely major positives of creating the software and manufacturing the hardware is how they cooperate beautifully. The Iphone is still unmatched in that department. The apps are almost always better on Iphone. I do miss having Imessage because most of the people i keep in touch with are Iphoners.
The one positive with android is the ease of getting third party apps on there and that's what makes me put up with deficiencies elsewhere.Comment

Re: iPhone Discussion Thread
I hate to admit it but iMessage always brings me back when I switch. Been rocking iOS since January though with no plans to switch again. If I were going to switch it'd be to a pixel but I hate having videos sent to me compressed

Is it possible to have a different browser than safari on your iPhone? One that you can make the default without jail breaking it.

Re: iPhone Discussion Thread
After being on Android since forever (had a Motorola that ran Android 1.5 as my first Android device) I decided to get an iPhone 6S Plus in mid-December. It was mainly for work purposes, as my employer supports everything Apple and it was becoming more and more inconvenient to be disconnected on my days off.
When I originally got this phone, it was on a Friday. I was so unexcited by the prospect of switching from Android I waited until the Monday to actually open it and start using it. What a mistake that was. iOS is simply a beautiful piece of software. It has made my life so much easier, both personally and professionally. There's definitely things I'd like to see improved (notifications being the main one, just prefer the Android way) but overall it's been both eye opening and truthfully life-changing. I use my phone ALOT. Even with this phone's terrific battery life, I rarely go through a day without a charge at some point.
Everything has just been a pleasant surprise. People who know my love of Android ask me what it is about the iPhone I love so much. I struggle to name one or two big things. There isn't any. There's seemingly a million little things that have been such a positive experience, I can't recommend the iPhone enough.

I think I might be switching over with the release of the Iphone X. I already have a imac, macbook pro and ipad so might have to make the full jump into apple.Comment
