The iPhone X is awesome phone. I’m def having fun with the x. If you want to fully have a customization of a phone get an andriod. But don’t get the pixel 2. There’s a lot of issues with. Get the note 8. But I’m having a lot of fun no complaints.

The Pixel 2 is fine. The phone with the “issues” is the Pixel 2 XL. I loved the Pixel 2 for the brief period of time that I’ve used it. Even loved the Pixel XL (last years model) for the week I used it but after being committed to iPhone for the last 18 months, I jumped back with an iPhone X and haven’t looked back. Love this thing.

Jury is still out on Face ID as I still feel Touch ID was faster but since this thing is supposed to learn we’ll see if it improves.

I love Face ID it’s weird for me now using Touch ID on my iPad. The only thing I wish there was a way to go straight into the home screen and not have to swipe up

I am getting the X through my company, only $550 for me so I'm pretty happy. I was leaning towards getting the 8 as I don't love huge phones like the 7 or 8 plus, the X seems to be about as big as I am willing to go. For me, I want to try something fresh and new.

My wife's shipped today, 9 days early. I want to mess with it. I really liked it in the store when I played with it. Loved the smaller body but bigger screen. If Pixel 2 was the same size but bigger screen I probably would have went with that over the 2XL.

I returned my iPhone X. Loved everything about except the form factor. The Plus series made me finally try an iPhone. I really don't want to go back to a small phone yet I've thought about ordering again in Space Grey. Had the Silver at first.

I returned my iPhone X. Loved everything about except the form factor. The Plus series made me finally try an iPhone. I don't want to go back to a small phone, especially at the price point. I'll re-visit in 2018 when I'm sure there will be a X Plus or whatever. Back to my 6S Plus and ordered a Panda Pixel 2 XL. Kinda excited about going back to Android. If I decide to cancel the order (ship date 12/11) I may just get the 8 Plus.

Coming from a habitual switcher who’s been on iPhone for the last 18 months or so, you’re going to like the Pixel line. My Pixel 2 will be in tomorrow and I’ll let my X rest for a while. I’ve already moved all of my website contact email and login credentials back to my GMail account and moved all of my notes and reminders to Google Keep. Photos are on Google Photos and Resume is on google drive. [emoji16] I admit, I did all of this for ease of access from my laptop and work computer but switching at this time benefits from it as well.

Also got a Moto 360 from Swappa because I’ve become an everyday smart watch kinda guy.

After the reports of slowing Phones down, I will not buy another IPhone for me or anyone one else in my family, I think this id flat out dirty. No excuse they say will be a valid one either.

I feel you. Their reasoning sorta makes sense BUT they should have given users the option.

Same here. Tired of this shady company. I just ditched my 6s and bought a Moto G5 plus for $230 and I love it.

I'm done paying exorbitant amounts of money for "flagship phones" when phones like thi Moto do everything they do with minimal trade off. And I also mean financing a phone through a major carrier.

We switched to Cricket, get great service and it's $90/mo. for three lines.

I have the 6S (with the battery pack) and am thinking of upgrading to the X. But I’m not sure it’d be worth it. Besides the camera, what other major benefits would I get from upgrading to the newest iPhone? My battery lasts longer than the iPhone X and it still has a headphone jack.

I considered the Pixel 2 XL, but I'm too "invested" in iMessage with almost my entire family and friend group having iPhones.

Why does that matter? You can still group message with them, no? I haven't had an iPhone in years so maybe I am forgetting something.
