Yeah, I would like to have both versions in the same set, but if I had to choose one to have it would be the Extended versions, not the theatrical versions.

Don't get me wrong though, I'll definetly rent the blu rays to see the glory that awaits once I actually buy a LOTR set on Blu Ray.

Just bought "The Island" (bluray) on Amazon UK for $22 USD! Great action movie...didn't do very well in theaters, but one of Michael Bay's best films!! The reason I bought from UK is because it's way overpriced on US Amazon: $60. Don't know why they want that much when it's already available in UK.

Ordered The Wrestler and Taken last night from AMZ for 15 bucks each - neither of them are in stock though.

Underrated action flick. I picked it up for $12 on HD-DVD a while ago.

Now waiting on my Amazon order of The Wrestler and Any Given Sunday.

I almost pulled the trigger on Taken. Have seen both the DVD and Blu ray versions. Don't know if I'd watch it enough times to warrant the purchase.

The Wrestler was a no-brainer though for $15.

Both movies were blind buys. The Wrestler I've been wanting to see since I saw the first trailer and unfortunately it never showed close to me. Taken has been recommended quite a bit to me by my friends and co-workers and the impressions on here are favorable, so I figured why not. It was either Taken or Revolutionary Road and I didn't feel like getting another drama with The Wrestler.

Gotcha. If you haven't seen either then it was a good buy b/c both have not been this cheap, especially Taken.

The Island is an AWESOME movie. Really, really liked it and sucks that it didn't do so well at the box office.

The Wrestler hasn't shipped yet for me, but I don't feel like canceling it and then reordering just for a dollar. I'm not sure what AMZ's policy is on orders not yet shipped and price guarantees.

The Third Man is $15.99 at AMZ. Its an awesome film and Criterion does amazing jobs with their releases, so its a no brainer at this price.

You'd have to cancel and re-order to get the lower price. They changed their policy early last year. A bunch of people were mad about it. It's really just a hassle and annoyance.

Not really worth it for a dollar.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Too bad they raise all the prices on their blus. I have a $25 GC I might use for this though.
