Pandorum is 9.99 on blu-ray over at Amazon currently. Ive never seen the movie so Ive got no idea if its any good but it is a more recent release and for it to be this low means it should be a deal for someone here.

    Boondock Saints II is 12.99.....

Amazon.uk has the Godfather trilogy on blu ray for $28 shipped

Considering this goes for $50 in the States, very good pricing. Region free so no compatibility issues.

EDIT: Deal is dead. Back up to normal price.

              Shopping spree tomorrow for me.

The Blockbuster video next to my folks' house is closing and they are selling all of their HD DVDs for 1.99 each. They have a ton.

I plan on walking out with about 30 High Definition Movies for roughly 60 bucks.

                  Toshiba HD-A2 in my bedroom.

Xbox 360 HD DVD add on in the living room.

And have a Blu Ray now when I picked up my PS3 about a month ago.

I have 112 HD DVDs right now. Haven't bought any Blu Rays yet. Gonna grab about 20 over the weekend off of Amazon plus I plan on grabbing a boatload of those HD DVDs this weekend.

2 bucks for a High Def movie? Can't beat it.

If you're doing an Amazon order. Might want to consider getting a Amazon Prime free trial. Get a month of free 2-day shipping.

Try this: Go to the textbook section and choose a book: Catcher in the Rye . Select Add to Cart with free 2 day shipping. Go to checkout. It'll ask you to activate it before paying. Activate and then don't pay.

If it still works, it gives you 3 free months instead of 1.

I'm on the last 30 days of my trial.

                      Good luck.

We had our town's Blockbuster close as well & HOLY CRAP were there a ton of people there. I did a lap around the store, after picking through the leftover Blu-Rays & games, saw how long the line was, set my pile down & walked out. The wait was not worth the savings...

I almost pulled the trigger on Red Cliff. I think there is a longer version that is an import. Gonna see if I can get that version.

Anybody who likes Fistful of Dollars or is a fan of Asian cinema needs to pick up Yojimbo and Sanjuro. I've only watched Yojimbo thus far, but for being almost 50 years old, it looked awesome. Criterion does an excellent job on their transfers.
