Oh, really? I didn't see an ad, just figured they would have shown the price on BestBuy.com like they normally do. If it's really $26 (or perhaps $25.99), then that's fair enough. Seems I may do them same thing then as well.

Yeah, I definitely won't raise hell over the 13 cents increase, especially when it nearly breaks even with the cost of a piece of paper plus the ink to print the ad to price match.

If the $26 is true, I'll ask them about it tomorrow.

Ah, then I'll probably just do the price matches. I'm a stiff for paying extra physical dollar bills.

About to go rent the SD version of Saw 5 for $1. That'll tide me over til the BD version drops to a reasonable price-- $15-17.

HD-DVD has spoiled me rotten. Which I just picked up 10 more titles on amazon for $6 each.

Oh man, this is the worst. I combined 4 movies total and it comes out to $48.96, 4 cents shy of the $49 minimum. This is the only movie combination that I want. Do you think that if I contact them I can see if they can let this slip a couple cents?

It's just unfortunate that I see like 10 movies that I have already bought that would have made this a steal if only I had held off on just one of them.

Buy a random one you've never seen that's supposed to have a great picture.

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. I did an impulse buy on Shoot 'Em Up. We'll see if it's any good.

I just wish there was a way to add those 4 cents...

Are you really that cheap? Pay the shipping...it's what, five dollars?

Re: **Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread Part II**

It was $10.45. In the end, I'm only paying $2 more for a whole 'nother movie.

That's why I was saying I just wish I had held off on buying at least one more of the other movies (Lucky Number Slevin, 1408, The Mist, Halloween, Burn After Reading) so that I could include it in my purchase. I wasn't going to try and be cheap, I was trying to find a fifth movie, though there wasn't one that I had both seen and enjoyed outside of the other four that I was ready to buy (Elf, Memento, Gone Baby Gone, Rush Hour 3). Since that totaled to $48.96, I was hoping for one of two things: 1) Finding a fifth movie that I know I'd enjoy, 2) finding a way to bypass the coupon by 4 cents. Since I don't think the latter could be done, I decided to blind-buy Shoot 'Em Up.

I wasn't trying to be cheap. Again, the shipping was $10.45 while Shoot 'Em Up was $12.99. Why pay shipping when you can essentially buy another movie for $2.54? The only question was which one, because again, there wasn't another on the list that I had either seen and enjoyed, or that I don't already own.

I have Shoot 'em Up on DVD so I can't say about the picture but I found the movie itself very entertaining. It's way over the top. The best way I saw it put is that it's like Bugs Bunny/Elmer Fudd with more violence.
