I went to Best Buy before I saw this announcement and was very surprised when I saw Hard Candy on the shelves, especially at $9.99. I picked it up in a heartbeat.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

I was just going to get Anchorman, but then I saw Bad Lieutenant on the same endcap and snagged it for $9.99. I kinda wanted to buy one of each of the $10 movies, lolComment

House Season 6 comes out tomorrow. $47.99 at the Best Buy.
Seems REALLY pricey, but I'll bite anyways. If you aren't going to buy your favorite show in Blu-Ray, what are you going to buy?Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

I'd like to go ahead and buy the last season of lost, but i'm waiting for the eventual price drop. AMZ sold seasons 1-5 for $105 earlier this year.Comment

Hard Candy seems like a must for enthusiast... Plus you can't go wrong it's only $7.99 @ BB
Lionsgate comes through with an amazing 1080p transfer for 'Hard Candy.' I really wasn't expecting that much from a low-budget movie like this. This is perhaps one of, if not the, best transfers I've seen on a movie that cost under a million bucks to produce.Comment

But is it really now only $7.99 at BB? It was $9.99 when I bought it.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: **Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread Part II**
Season 6 of House has the absolute worst packaging I have ever seen in a DVD/Blu set. Unbelievable. It's so ridiculously difficult to get discs out without scratching them it's mind numbing. There needs to be a recall, and I'm dead serious.
It has what seems to be standard for a Universal set release disc-on-disc packaging. Except that there's these gay little tabs holding the disc in instead of the normal thing that goes in the middle of the disc.
I took a pic of it to show this ridiculous design:

Now, as you can see, all that's holding the disc in is those tabs I circled. The issue is that they're firm. They don't flex, they don't move. No doubt so they couldn't break off. But as a result, you physically have to bend the disc to get it in and out of the case. And I don't like bending a disc. Alternative is pushing on it, but that's certainly going to scratch it. And you'd have to push like hell. I don't know why they made these cases so needlessly complicated. I'm fine with disc-on-disc, but if I have to put my discs in danger to get them in and out that's a no-no.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: **Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread Part II**
Blu-rays are pretty scratch-resistant, I wouldn't worry too much about that. Just push on the center ring of the case, and the best of luck to you getting it out.
I believe the Matrix DVD's are like that in the ultimate trilogy pack as well. I don't have much to complain about except the fact the cases themselves are slim.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Can't get at it from the bottom. Those holes in the bottom corners are there for no reason. There's a little plastic wall between the hole and the disc for some reason.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

There is no center ring. There's nothing in the middle of the disc. Just the tabs are holding them in.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn
