I know I'm very late to the party but I finally picked up Band of Brothers on BR for a whopping 19.99 at Bestbuy. I was shocked to see the sale sticker marked down from 74.99.

Best Buy has their display of Christmas themed Blu-ray movies out. Stopped there tonight and picked up Elf and Jingle All the Way for $9.99 each.

I normally don't even bother when it's less than 30% off but 1 of the few times Game of Thrones was in stock for $30...so $24 after discount was okay. Forgetting Sarah Marshall was the #2.

Same here. The tv shows I picked up are always out so when I saw them I snagged them.

FYI: Newegg has a LG 3D, wifi blu ray player for $60 shipped (no taxes).

$8-12 cheaper than Amazon's current price or any comparable Black Friday offerings + no waiting in line.

How are LG blu-ray players typically? Mine is dying a slow death so I've been keeping an eye out for a good buy.

I've had a LG blu ray player for 3 years that is still going strong. Has played every blu ray I have thrown at it.

Went with LG since I had a LG plasma.

EDIT: Went ahead and pulled the trigger on one. Gonna have to keep my dog up this week so he doesn't open it up before I get home.

Picked up 5 more Criterion Blu-rays from Barnes and Noble yesterday.

This sale is always great for making my wallet lighter.

My mother in law wants to get me the Bond 50 blu ray collection for Christmas, currently $150 on Amazon.

Any idea if that will go lower on Black Friday?

Good question because I've been wanting to pick it up myself but it was $199 at Best Buy.

No retail stores are offering it cheaper. Maybe Amazon will in one of their BF lightning deals.

Do they have any of the Home Alones and The Santa Clause movies on Blu Ray?
