Just enjoy the movie because you can't be if you're looking for imperfections all the time.
I know that's what it sounds like, but I don't look for it. Then again, I am particularly looking at the fine HD detail (compared to DVD), so I guess in a way I'm looking "for" it when I'm not even trying to.

It's pretty obvious, when you see white edges around everything it's hard not to see.

im going to pick up NOTORIOUS this week. i loved the movie when i saw it at the theater. im undecided on THE WRESTLER. im a big wrestling fan but i dont know if i will like it. has anyone seen it?
The Wrestler is fantastic, one of the best movies I've ever seen. The DVD/Blu Ray release is a little disappointing though because its light on special features. What's there is good, there just isn't much.

                lol

Just recall the only reason I first threw it out is because I was spoiled with such a great first scene of IMAX glory, and when the biggest Blu-ray to ever hit the world has a sign of weakness such as this it is magnified. The only reason I carry on is because nobody else in the world seems to see it. I brought up Body of Lies because it is another example in hopes that somebody understands what I mean.

Now, I did apologize however because I saw TDK as it came back in IMAX and noticed that the non-IMAX shots had the same EE in theaters. So at that point I figured out it wasn't just on the transfer that they upped the sharpness of the movie, which is what I was most mad about before. I'm guessing they had to do it to compare with the IMAX shots in some sense, though it still wasn't comparable. However, I saw it four times not in IMAX and those regular shots looked much better, so I said hopefully with a double-dip release they will use those shots for the non-IMAX shots.

                          There's only a music video.
I'm waiting for the 2.0 or 3.0 edition ... or maybe the 6.0.

There's a music video for the Springsteen song "The Wrestler."
There's a behind the scenes mini documentary that's about 40 minutes long.
There's a wrestler round table that's about 20 minutes long.

So there's more than just a music video, but not much more. No commentary, which I think is what will irritate fans most. Also no deleted scenes or anything like that and Rourke isn't featured in the documentary (other than seeing shots of him and such, but no interviews). I think the DVD/Blu Ray was a rush job to capitalize on the popularity of the film following the awards season. If it sells and Fox thinks the interest is there then maybe we'll see a more comprehensive package at some point.
