Or just post a link to allhiphop's front page. I could see if these were from different sites but every article is from the same place.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Most of the articles on here I just copied from rapgodfathers.com.
But my fault ya'll, I'll post the links next time.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
Don't get me wrong, I've listened to both. I wasn't as much of a fan of Latifah's as I was Lyte's. I saw where she was coming from with her messages and all that, but I think I was too young too appreciate them. Even though I can appreciate them now, I still don't put her on MC Lyte's level as an MC. As for Lyte I was a fan ever since Lyte as a Rock and up until 93' when Bo$$ debuted Born Gangstaz, I thought she was the tightest female MC. There's no question though in my mind she's still top 3 or 4. In fact, I'd have to put her over Boss at least just because of her body of work, Boss only came out with the one album and an overlooked mixtape, even though I thought that one official release was a classic.
On another note, I was listening to my old Leaders of the New School today and it's crazy just how much I use to listen to that as a high school freshman. Still remembered the lyrics to a lot of the tracks. Anyway, I was wondering, why is it that Busta Rhymes is so often overlooked in discussions of all time greatest rappers? I very rarely, if ever, hear anyone mention him in those talks. Is it because of the content (lots of party type tracks, fun stuff)? It can't be his ability.
I think it's like movies, man... or videogames. You have to be able to put yourself in the timeframe that it was out and I guess you were a youngin at the time. My old a** was old enough, lol. Like Scareface, I didn't see until about 6 or 7 years ago and I can see how it's a good movie but can't put it on the level of most people b/c when I saw it, it was outdated, ya know?
Have no idea why Busta doesn't get more props. He's definitely done his thing for a loooooong time.
Post a good quote too... some (like me) probably won't click the link without a teaser. Thanks for diggin stuff up, btw.Comment

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
Aug 15 - Jay-Z: “My goal is to make a classic album this year”
Just when you think Jay-Z is finished with music, he reminds you that he can’t leave it alone. He loves it too much. If he wont admit his marriage to Beyonce, he can’t deny the fact that he’s had an on-off relationship with music. Something he once exploited for commercial gain, realizing he truly does love it, after he attempted to call it quits in 2003 with the Black Album.
I just received the latest issue of Vibe Magazine which is incredibly thick. It’s about 200 pages, maybe 100 minus the ads, but this has to be the best issue regarding anything Hip-Hop related. I don’t know when this issue hits the stands, but you guys can wait for it.
What you may not be able to wait for is any information about Jay’s upcoming album, “The Blueprint 3″. Not too many were pleased when Timberland said he was going to produce the entire album. I myself included. Thankfully Jay put that claim to rest, willing to work with anyone who provides the best beats. After all, Jay does say he wants to make this one a classic.

The Milli joint is on there too but it's only like 45 seconds long, wasn't nothing serious like I thought it would be.#RespectTheCultureComment
