Go ahead and shake your head but R.E.D. was nowhere near as good as Game's first two albums. The City is the best track on the album and that's mostly because Kendrick destroys it.

And no, I didn't miss Section 80. I said it's probably my album of the year at the moment, even though it's a mixtape.

Was Wayne in prison when Drake was recording Thank Me Later?

You know Wayne is gonna get his name on Drake's **** any chance he gets.

Hopefully Drake breaks off in the next few years and forms his own label with his other OvO artists, The Weeknd specifically.

He can certainly afford to. He will surpass Wayne soon if he already hasn't in terms of overall money making power. He has his own producers and his sound can stay with him no matter which label he's on.

IMO he simply used YMCMB to just cash out/get his name out there. Hopefully he'll dip soon. Cash Money is gonna go the way of GUnit really soon IMO.

Yeah, the Young Money team doesn't have last power because all of their artists besides Drake lack any substance. Same will happen with MMG.

The same happened with Murder Inc., G-Unit, old Cash Money.

He will break off for sure. I can confirm that and I can't wait for that day.

As far as The Game is concerned, he has been going steadily downhill since The Documentary.

I won't even lie, I kinda miss G-Unit (just the 50, Banks, Buck version). I still listen to that first album to this day, lol.

I disagree. YMCMB will succeed simply for the calibur of artist they have. Most of the artist there have their own individual fanbases without Lil Wayne. Tyga, Bow Wow, Yo Gotti, Glasses Malone, Cory Gunz, Freeway...they have a roster from alot of different regions and alot of different backgrounds. As long as Wayne stays hot, Young Money will stay hot and anything they drop will get more listens than the majority of labels out right now. Squads like Murder Inc, G-Unit, etc were limited with talent and the artist they had were unknown upon release. Its different when you sign unknown artist with no fanbase compared to artist who've already been out there for some years making their way from the underground up. There is alot of diversity with the current roster. Haven't seen anything like it before.

As far as Drake is concerned, he does need to break free but him and Nikki seem like the only 2 that could survive on their own independent label. To bad I'm sure Birdman locked them down for at the very least 3 albums. So he can ether buy himself out which is career suicide and the music industry or drop some more music under YMCMB for the moment. He already has a lil bit of control over his music. Moreso than alot of artist out, even the J. Coles and the Wales out right now.

I really don't wanna get into it because I really don't give a rat's *** about Wayne or his label, but Wayne isn't guaranteed to stay hot.

Without Wayne/Drake that entire label goes straight down the toilet.

Wayne's act is getting tired IMO and I think his hardcore fans have recognized this for a while and the casual fan is just starting to see it.

Only a mixtape but this is my favorite project to come out last month.

These guys just might be the best due since Mobb Deep. This tape won't leave the car until the first sign of Fall.

November has to potental to be a great month of music. The Roots , Common , Action Bronson , The Weeknd , Drake , Lupe , Pac Div , Mac Mililer (sue me I kinda like the kid) , Mobb Deep , Kidz In The Hall , and Curren$y all have projects coming out this month.

I agree waynes act is old but he hasn't even begun the falloff stage of his career yet. Hell the dude been out for over a decade and he just now reaching his prime. I'm definitely not a young money jock rider but I'm more into the business moves he made the last few years. People say Wayne fell off last year and just when folks count him out he pops back up with something ****.

All he has to do is say "Carter 5, comin' soon! Ya heard me whoadie!!!" and he'll have everyone waiting and anticipating that just like he did with the last 4 Carters.

And as long as he keeps doing that, he'll be around for a while. Crazy to think he's been the game for 10+ years and he's only 25-26. Damn I feel old as crap

                          Wait what!?

Yo, Wayne is damn near 30-31 years old.

Plus..he was talking about retiring early though. He said he didn't want to keep rapping into his mid 30's. (The wonders of EBONY magazine...which is my grandparents....don't stare at me like that )

                          Edit: NVM. He 29. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lil_Wayne

What's amazing about the Lil Wane phenomenon is how Baby has managed to stay somewhat relevant in 2011. After Manny Fresh left Cash Money I thought it was over for him. With Wayne blowing up and the help of DJ Khalad/MMG he is still putting out music even after the Big Timers.

Yeah, their ain't no young solo artists out right now. The youngest mainstream one right now might be Big Sean (he's 23).

Note: I'm not including Diggy in this.

EDIT: B.o.B. is 22. Yes I'm actually checking to see how old everyone is.
