Got some great albums today. Black on Both Sides by Mos Def, Like Water for Chocolate by Common, The Fix by Scarface, and Illmatic. 4 of the best albums in hip hop history. It's going to be a good day .

Just turned on Diggy's new mixtape on the laptop and I have to say him going over old-school style beats might be the way to go for him. It just fits for him right now.

He's one of my favorites but he's not mainstream enough to be in this thread IMO. I'm a Blu fan but during the course of an album he starts to ramble.

I agree with JStew, I absolutely hated Kid Cudi's newest album. It's like he's trying to be too out there and different.

Supposedly there's a 50/Dre/Em/Jay-Z collabo called "Syllables" on the way around the New Year. I'll keep my expectations low, but hopefully all 4 go in.

Yeah I just read that, these supertracks never seem to turn out, at least the ones I remember.

I'm still pretty intrigued by this though..........

I don't know why anyone would be excited about that song. Dre is ***, 50 doesn't care about anything and Jay and Eminem are hit or miss.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)
