I really wish J Cole would seek more outside production

If the mixtapes have been any indication, then it'll probably be an intro track and 14 songs.

Also, he said Jay told him to make it 14, but he decided on 15.

Took long enough, but I finally dedicated a day to listening to nothing but J.Cole whenever I had my iPod on and I FINALLY found out what all the talk was about. That's some real talent right there.

I'm feeling the new song, "How High," as well. Can't wait for the album.

And Kendrick Lamar, as well. Good recommendations in this thread.

Agreed. The only funny skits I can remember are from Eminem's 1st or 2nd album.

Anyone who names a song after Barry Horowitz deserves a listen.

I liked the skits on Late Registration.

I forgot about those. Isn't the last one where Kanye gets kicked out of the fraternity? They were pretty funny but I'm not sure what they had to do with the progression of the album.

Now that I look through the tracklist and remember what the songs are about, I'm realizing that you guys are right. I think I'm going to listen to that album right now. It was a classic.

Yup his album is great and he has another one coming out in July with Statik Selektah producing that should be great too.

Yeah but who even listens to them more than maybe a handful of times? Eminem and Kanye have had some of the better skits / interludes in recent times but even those get deleted off my ipod with the quickness.

Whenever I download a bunch of new albums the first thing i do is search intro/outro/skit/interlude and delete whatever comes up.

I was just pointing out those skits fit into the concept of the album.

Most entertaining skits would belong to Camron.
