I actually had this video previously bookmarked because I ended up on it somehow some day. I still don't know how I got there.

Heard that Kendrick yesterday! Sorry wasn't feeling it. I'm sure there is a message in the song but the beat didn't bring me in, which stopped me from listening to the lyrics. LOL

I'm a big fan of Lecrae. Tired of people talking about nothing. I want music that's real. That talks about issues that are real to me. This one is just about his wife. Refreshing not to hear someone talk about women in a negative fashion but to be faithful.

EDIT: Looks like both clean and explicit is up on iTunes as well. Guess it was a surprise release

Wonderful album. Such a Overly Dedicated feel to it. I love it. A lot of people won't be feeling it, but it's good, very very good.

On first run through, the Kendrick album is super weak. Lot of filler/skippable records. The first half is very forgettable. I see the sound he was going for, but it just doesn't translate well. None of this music resonates with me like his first album did. A little too abstract/experimental for even my taste. Pretty disappointed that "i" made it too, that song is just awful.

I see it's up on google music. About to dive in.

Edit: Really disappointed the "Untitled" track he performed on The Colbert Report isn't on the album.

The voting on this year's XXL Freshman List has started.

Who's is going to be on that list?, Post your top 10 picks as of right now & vote on the website at

The only problem on the voting that once you vote one artist (at a time), you have to wait for 4 hours to vote again.
