I actually thought the fight scenes, the voice, and the batsuit were better in Batman Begins.

I prefer the charcoal looking suit compared to the leather. (I know it was changed to allow Bale to turn his head, though)

I agree on the voice and suit being better in Begins, but the fight scenes were terrible. I could barely ever tell what was happening. Every second there was a cut to another camera angle. I understood it for the introduction scene of Batman at the docks, but the other fight scenes it just didn't work for.

Catwoman. I want Catwoman.

I think Catwoman would work really well in Nolan's Batverse. Burton did a great job with the Batman/Catwoman dynamic but utterly failed when they were out of costume. I think Nolan would do a better job of capturing the complexity and somewhat codependency they have towards each other.

I'd be in favor of such a move.

According to IMDB cast list, it's rumored he'll be playing Det. Harvey Bullock.

If that's the case he'll have to pack on the pounds.

I can't imagine having Catwoman in this, what dire threat could she cause the city? Doesn't scare me

agreed. Joker was psychotic and wanted chaos, but I want a guy who just kills for the thrill, and I want some nasty crime scenes. I wouldn't mind if there was a brand new villain introduced, that would be sick

I could see Penguin coming into the fold here, especially since the crime families are kind of disorganized and fractured with 1) Batman's "investigations" and 2) the whole Joker thing.

SPTO, Burton's Bruce Wayne was really just an awkward character. He was kind of aloof and not very suave. Maybe that was part of the disguise because there were parts where he seemed...like himself? I agree that Batman/Catwoman in costume were great scenes (though seeing Batman and Penguin drool together over her was tacky), but Selina Kyle's personality was pretty much like Bruce's. At least in their scenes together.

According to BOF, filming in New Orleans will be just interiors and soundstage work. They're also saying Hardy as Bullock is bogus, since the only info is from IMDB.

I don't know. If catwoman is handled like the scarecrow, the joker and two-face then it will work. This batman is more realistic than the cartoon version of batman.

However a realistic catwomen would have 100 cats in here apartment. That's not going to work. Maybe like a zoo keeper of large cats at the zoo or something.

As long as they continue this sense of believability I think they can introduce most characters. But if they jump the shark and make them caricatures them that's when this series will die. That's the whole brilliance of the last joker. Yes it was a larger than life character but it was so convincing due to the performance by Ledger.

Yep, that's basically been her status quo for 30 years now (well except for Miller's depiction of her as an actual whore but that was a dark period that hardly gets referenced these days) She works well as a cat burglar stealing from the mob or those she feels can afford to lose valuables.

I believe so, either way that was a good way to retcon what Frank Miller did.

Anyway, I've wanted Catwoman in Nolan's trilogy/line from the beginning. The intricacies between them would make good movie material. The problem is what would the threat to Bats be.

You guys aren't thinking outside the box or rather inside the box as this idea has floated around in the comics for years. Catwoman's biggest threat to Batman is getting CLOSE to him. Batman is so singularly focused on his crusade against crime that he can't be put off his game by getting close to anyone much less someone of the opposite sex. Catwoman can get under Bats' skin and cobble evidence that Bruce Wayne IS Batman.

It's quite simple really.
