Anyone have a link to the prologue with the original Bane voice?

I prefer the newer voice much more than that old one. It was hard enough understanding the new version at times so I can't imagine trying to understand that one, in a fully packed theater no less.

The unedited voice does sound "more sinister" I guess, but what I loved is that the one they went with sounded so -- and this probably isn't the exact word I'm looking for -- intelligent, yet he was this massive ***-kicking monster. To me that almost made him more frightening but also gave him some kind of charm as well.

I don't know if it was different in IMAX, but one of the issues was just that it was so boomy, so much louder than everybody else's voice, like he was narrating or something. It reminded me of the Phone Booth Blu-ray, where the sniper's voice covered all 5.1 channels and just felt out of place.

I suppose I'll have to wait and see till I hear it in a regular theater. It's not even the same as the Nokia trailer (at least when I heard it in the theater, which it also wasn't booming there either, and was on the same level with everyone else).

This was my issue with the voice more than the voice itself which was sometimes a little too unintelligible. It was as if his mask was also a megaphone.

Hmm ... that original voice did kinda sound better.Though it felt a little more difficult to understand.

I like Bane's new voice. Sounds like he is in pain. Kinda like when you break a rib and have to say something, so you get air from a completely different place or method and push the words out? That is what Bane's voice reminds me of. I like it a lot.
