I try not to get to far ahead of myself when watching the show. Lost is a lot more enjoyable if you just go along for the ride and put together the pieces as they're given to you.

Why isn't there a huge concerted effort to get Walt back on the island? The oceanic 6 is really the oceanic 7 with Walt. Where's Walt at? Living with his Grandma or is he playing Division 1 B-ball now that he's 7 feet tall?
What about Michael, he died on the freighter, right? Why doesn't his body have to get back to the island."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: *** LOST: Season 5 Discussion***
Walt was just not as frequent a cast member because of his alarming growth.
They had no place to put him. It would have caused continuity issues. Now that it's three years later, the audience can accept an older looking Walt, and I bet that we'll start seeing more of him as they draw closer to getting back."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Edit - And I guess I should clarify a little more - I think "they" have to go back to the island because they are the ones who left causing the island to have to be moved, causing this crazy time rift. Or maybe the Island moves everytime they lie about the story. Who the crap knows?!Michigan WolverinesChicago White SoxComment

That's what I'm thinking too. Jacob is what Jack is known as in the future for some strange reason. There has to be some reason Christian and Claire, Jack's two relatives, are the ones hanging out in Jacob's cabin. There are no coincidences in Lost."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
