Don't believe Locke is truly dead, but don'tknow where they going with that.

Best thing I can think of, is, that he had to "die" in order to get everyone back to the Island. However, once they get back to the Island, Ben will probably bring Locke back to it and bam...he'll be alive.

I can't remember the exact quote, but Ben said something to Jack that made it seem like Locke wasn't exactly dead. I mean, he's dead, but Ben had a weird reaction to Jack mentioning this to him. It was during the time they discussed what would happen to the casket.

But, yea, I think it's exactly like you say. We've seen dead people pop up on the Island. I'm sure once Locke is back there, he'll be alive too.

Hurley IMO just has a guilt trip about constantly lying to everyone. He seems to know they have to go back to island but don't know who to trust of how to go about it so just has a moment. Hears different things from different people and confuses him. We also don't know who Besides Charlie has visited him and talked to him. Echo played chess but did he say anything to him? Sayid said not to trust ben no matter what and thats why he gave himself up.

I think Ben wanted Hurley to give himself up. Ben knew Hurley would not listen to anything he told him to do.

I disagree that with that, but i do think that Ben will find a way to use the situation to use advantage and convince Hurley to come back. Now that he has been arrested for 3 murders, what does he have to lose. He'll go back to the island.

I think it's Rossou's group.

They look like they're from the 1950's to me, their dress made them look too old to be Rossou's group IMO.

I disagree that with that, but i do think that Ben will find a way to use the situation to use advantage and convince Hurley to come back. Now that he has been arrested for 3 murders, what does he have to lose. He'll go back to the island.

I think Ben will just somehow manipulate the system or act as an authority figure and move him to a "new prison" (The island)

I really hope they bring charlie back, too good of an actor and character.

Don't count on it. Monaghan wanted off the show. Some of the deaths were pre-planned, but some of them were due to the actors wanting off the show. Mira Furlan (Rousseau) and the guy who played Eko are others who had Island Fever and needed out.

Yeah, neither Eko's or Rousseau's death made much sense, it was kinda easy to see they were written off for that reason. It's too bad Eko couldn't have been a long-standing character on the show, he was fun.

How many season 2 people are left? Thats my main problem with season 2, all those silly flashbacks that have absolutely no consequence on the show. Ecko, Lou Chia Pet, Libbey, flight attendant lady. Some of it was off set behavior that you really can't predict, but when a character like Echo just wants off the show, thats just plain unfortunate for the fans and the story line.

How many season 2 people are left? Thats my main problem with season 2, all those silly flashbacks that have absolutely no consequence on the show. Ecko, Lou Chia Pet, Libbey, flight attendant lady. Some of it was off set behavior that you really can't predict, but when a character like Echo just wants off the show, thats just plain unfortunate for the fans and the story line.

Benard and Cindy the flight attendant is all I can think of. I guess those two kids The Others stole are still around as well.

Why isn't there a huge concerted effort to get Walt back on the island? The oceanic 6 is really the oceanic 7 with Walt. Where's Walt at? Living with his Grandma or is he playing Division 1 B-ball now that he's 7 feet tall?

What about Michael, he died on the freighter, right? Why doesn't his body have to get back to the island.

This is the thing with the entire plot... by making claims such as "The island doesn't want that" you can say that as an explanation for anything.

Perhaps it is not necessary for Walt to get off the island. I think it's possible we may either 1) never get an explanation for Walt's connection to the island or 2) have him be some ridiculous surprise as we near the conclusion of the series.
