Well if rumors are true than a major player is killed off in the finale who do you reckon it could be? I think one of Sawyer, Juliet, Hurley and Sayid will be offed.

Yea, I can see him.
But, it would be mind blowing if it were a Kate, Jack or Sawyer."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Unless this shows that the future can be changed. While we may be thinking whatever happens, happened, this could show that the future could be changed.Last edited by moose1619; 05-11-2009, 12:48 PM.I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me!

I have a feeling it will be one of the people who goes to kill Jacob with Locke...so Locke (yet again) or Ben, would be my guess.Comment

But if it's totally unexpected I would say Hurley, that man has been coddled on the island, and never had a situation in which he could've gotten seriously hurt other than running down an other with the Dharma Van.
To be honest I was expecting Hurley to get shot when his fat rear went into stealth mode around New Otherton in the last episode.Comment

Re: *** LOST: Season 5 Discussion***
Desmond couldn't have known until Daniel told him. (I know, duh). Even though we perceive Daniel telling Desmond in the past, because it happened in Daniel's present, it did not happen in Desmond's past until we saw it happen.
Does that make sense?
Now that I think about it though, Daniel told something to "little" Charlotte that she remembered as she was dying. That doesn't exactly jive with what the writers established with the Daniel/Desmond thing.Comment

Re: *** LOST: Season 5 Discussion***
That did fit because it was in Charlotte's past, even though it was Daniel's future (at the point when she died). The difference is that Charlotte isn't special, where as Desmond is.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Re: *** LOST: Season 5 Discussion***
Right, but technically, Daniel told Desmond to find his mother in Desmond's past. When Charlotte told Daniel she remembered him, she was recalling a moment that had not yet happened yet for Daniel.Comment

Re: *** LOST: Season 5 Discussion***
Right, because Daniel isn't special and neither is Charlotte. Only Desmond has that ability due to the blast in the hatch.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Re: *** LOST: Season 5 Discussion***
You're right, but you know how silly this sounds.....I don't thin the hatch balst has anything to do with Desmond's "Specialness". If he's just special because he is, I'll swear a toddler wrote that into the story.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Re: *** LOST: Season 5 Discussion***
There's gotta be an explanation. Desmond is the only one that confused the whole time theory that Lost is running with here. He's the one that throws everything off. I'm sure these guys know he's doing that and they know why.
But, I honestly don't think it'll be anything more than him just being special. Unless he's Jacob and he can do that sort of thing. Who the frick knows anymore?"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied.
