I cannot wait for tonight's episode. Easily the most excited and eager I've been to watch anything on TV in a long time.

I find myself suddenly going from "how does it end, I have to know!" to feeling really sad that there's only one more season left. Regardless of how they put everything together next season, I can safely state right now that Lost has entertained me like no other show ever has and I will miss it terribly when it ends.

Of course, that's when I go back and re-watch the whole damn thing on BD.

Ours is a show that specializes in big shock endings, but I think season five...None of the other shock endings left me wondering how the show goes on. We have two kinds of huge shocks at the end of this one. Each one alone would be enough to keep an audience eating its own soul for the whole hiatus, but with two, I don't know what you can do with that.

Yeah I'm getting to that point where, it's kicking in that next season is it. Lost was really the first show I started watching religiously and getting really into. It will always have a special place in my heart. Watching Season one on dvd is an experience I will probably never have with any other tv show, just episode after episode non stop.

With the BD versions of the first two seasons apparently due out this summer, my wife and I are planning on watching all five seasons this fall...hopefully finishing up right before the premiere in January.

I think we're doing that too. As they begin to unravel the mysteries, I want everything fresh in my mind.

This did sneak up on me as well. Guess my life has been busy, so feels like it has rushed by. It is sad to think that there is only one more season left.

I rewatched the first four seasons and finished in the middle of Season 5. It was very interesting watching it again knowing what I already know. Looks like the finale will be good, can't wait to see what happens.

Buying seasons 1 and 2 Blu-Rays myself.
Will probably do the same thing.
