I work for Discovery (owns TLC) and most of the stuff there is not true. I'm a little biased because they pay my bills but alot of the rumors I've heard about Kate are overblown.

Yeah, I think my wife got most of it online so I've always been skeptical, but never doubted Kate was as bad as she appears on TV.

I do know the organic chef part is true as she saw that on their website and showed it to me. The chef doesn't live at the house, but comes a few times a week.

The maid is also true. There was an episode regarding it (Housekeeper Hunt). I'm not sure if the maid still works for them or not...I'm assuming no as it was a while ago.

I've seen 2 episodes- Kate yelling at Jon while in a toy store and the puppy episode where the oldest kid whines and cries because she didnt get to pick the name.

I put the bug in my wife's ear about the recent "transgressions" of Mr. Jon, and she quickly fired up the laptop foaming at the mouth for information...

We came to the conclusion that..."Why would they Aunt be in a contract dispute?"

I mean here she is able to go about her everyday life and get paid. I said shoot I'd be happy if they paid me $5,000 bucks to do the show...you guys want to film me driving a car and changing a diaper be my guest. My wife said $5,000...give me $1,000...

So why would the aunt not jump at any chance to make a quick buck like this for virtually no work at all?

I'm leaning more to the Kate is an undeniable bitch side of the fence.

Well its clear who won out in the end between Jon and Kate since there will be a new season and it will start on May 25th. Its clear as day to me that Kate loves the limelight and Jon would rather go back to living a normal life without the cameras around.

Ohh I never said they werent, maybe the article touching on all subjects made it seem that I thought this newest stuff was going to be in the new season but I figured if it debuts later this month then its all been shot already anyways. I was merely pointing out that at the end of last season they seemed rather split on whether to do another season of the show or not, Jon against it and Kate for it, and now that we are apparently having another season it really shows who makes the decisions in that household. I feel for Jon to a degree, the guy cant leave because not only would he be villified all over TV and print but the amount of child support he would have to pay would cripple him but if he stays he has to keep subjecting his life to this TV show and his bitchy *** wife, its like a lose, lose situation.

I think Kate has let fame go to her head.

But, Jon needs a reality check, too. I don't see him crying about all the vacations and gifts his family has been given since starting the TV show, not to mention the new house they bought (no doubt with money earned from the show) so you can't complain too much about the attention when you bring it on yourself by agreeing to be on a TV show in the first place.
