But, Jon needs a reality check, too. I don't see him crying about all the vacations and gifts his family has been given since starting the TV show, not to mention the new house they bought (no doubt with money earned from the show) so you can't complain too much about the attention when you bring it on yourself by agreeing to be on a TV show in the first place.
? He's publicly said he's tired of the show NOW, and want's to walk away from it. Unfortunately his significant other's head is in the clouds w/ her book and psuedo celebrity status.

Hey...some tabloids are reporting that Jon may not have been the 1st to stray as their's been reports of Kate hooking up w/ her personal trainer and/or bodyguard...make of it what you will, but...

Right, I get that he wants to stop doing the show but I just find it funny how you never heard him complain about the attention or demands of the show when they were raking in the gifts, houses etc.

I'm just saying it's hard for me to feel sorry for the guy when he voluntarily signed up for the show.

Kate needs a good ape smashing... Turn those guts into mush, leave her in the corner in a quivering heap... Guarantee you she wouldn't be running off at the mouth anymore.

Just wanna say I hate this dang show more than any show out there, my wife watches this crap. I fell sorry for anyone else on here who has to see or hear this garbage. Kate seems like one of the biggest b*%C#es in the world. I come on here and see there is a new season starting in May . I`m sure glad that we have another t.v. in our room.

The more I think about it the more I think this "scandal" is just a ploy to pop a big rating for the new season premiere.

They started planting the seeds at the end of last season with Jon saying he wasn't sure if he wanted to continue and all the other b.s. he threw out there. Kate says they'll definitely be back. Conflicting opinions = tension. What do we see next? Photos and stories of Jon out on the town, allegedly drinking and flirting with other women and getting into a car with a woman at 2 a.m. Kate then goes on media blitz to give her side of story.

By the way, the new season starts at the end of the month.

            I'm just sayin'...

Yeah, it all seems too convenient.... Way too much of a coincidence... I don't watch the show so I'm not really concerned.

I said the same thing to my wife this morning, she watches religiously..I hear alot from her and have seen a couple episodes myself. If I knew the paparazzi was on my tale 24-7 no way I would cheat. And then to cheat with that 5 or 6? With the money he's pulling in (around 20k per episode) I would say something like I need a weekend away, buy a plane ticket to England, France or Amsterdam and hook up there. Either it is a stunt, or he is the dumbest MF out there.

Ok, I cant possibly be the only one who got roped into watching the season premiere tonight, can I? Its clear as day that its going to take a miracle for them to stay together, interviews done seperate of eachother, neither one knowing what the future holds, tons of anger towards the other for completely different reasons, Jon not being there for half the episode only to return to be ignored by Kate until she goes into "boss" mode again and starts telling him what to do. I really feel bad for the kids, a divorce is tough enough but to have it all on camera would have to make it much, much tougher in the end. As much as I really dislike the show for certain reasons, I really hope they somehow find that light at the end of the tunnel and make things work while ending the show for their own sanity at this point.

I work for the company that owns TLC and its not a ploy. Its very real and its not something the network is happy about. The show is the number 1 show on the network and no one wants to see it go away because of a divorce.

At this point I see this show as nothing more than exploitation of thier children for I guess a profit, and while I do feel somewhat sympathetic w/ Jon he has made this proverbial bed for himself: either not putting his foot down sooner, or acting out and going off/astray...

Ultimately my fears are w/ the 8 kids, and hopefully in 20 years we don't see some True Hollywood story about them...

Watched it last night with my wife. I was surprised to see it was as bad as it seemed. Neither mentioned wanting to be with the other...they only stated they wanted to be there for the kids. I can't see this ending well.

One other strange thing... Jon was gone most of the episode "on business". Is he really away on business or is he staying elsewhere? If he's living elsewhere, things must be very bad.

We were sucked in as well. From what I understand, he's in a hotel down the road. I loved him pulling in a Nissan 350Z as well. Not gonna fit too many kids in that are we Jon? LOL

I really hope we get to see the divorce proceedings as well, I want to see what each one gets from the settlement.

I watched it because my wife was watching it. I think Kate is guilty in the whole "cheating" thing. I never liked her because of how she treated Jon. However Jon should so his part as a husband and stand up for himself instead of being Kates puppet. I dont think he is totally innocent and may have cheated in retaliation. He has 8 kids and millions of dollars. I would ride it out as long as the cheating stops. Having millions of dollars and not having to work is better then working. Also I would want to raise my kids not some stranger. I really liked the cake show on afterwards, Ill set the DVR for that one.

I have caught snippets of the show, but my wife watches. Last night I had to tune in to see ongoing dramatics. From what I have seen and heard, she treats him like total trash. It is a shame if they do divorce because there are 8 kids without father involvement on a day-to-day basis. Personally, they need to work their differences out and Jon needs to have someone exercise the "Bitch" out of Kate. Look at the way she treats other people on the show. He knew how she was going into this marriage.

You could cut the tension with a knife it was so bad between the two at the b-day party. She continued to boss him around, which is nuts as she knows what she is doing wrong since she admitted earlier.

What is so funny is that they have millions, but he dislikes this lifestyle and she can't stand the paparazzi. I laugh, what did they expect would happen.

What was up with Jon's car..............he can't even fit 1 kid in there. LOL! I think this guy might be totally done.
