If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -
Re: What movies have you seen recently? Part 1
Youth In Revolt
Much funnier than I had anticipated going in, some really funny parts.
SpoilerThe part at the end where he runs Steve Buchemi's car off the cliff in front of all the cops and it lands in like 2 inches of water was hilarious. Also, Mushrooms & Justin Long, nuff said.
Although I do think Michael Cera is aging in reverse.Comment

Luckily I caught my favorite part, the emotional breakdown at the end when they're all sitting around. Just great character development and writing.Comment

Just saw Taxi driver for the first time and I must say it does not live up to all the billing. It's a very good movie and all just not as good as I was expecting it to be.
I also did not like the way it ended could have been more realistic or could that be just a dream and not the true ending. All well either way it was an interesting movie to say the least.Comment

I just saw Splice and it was a colossal waste of time. Adrian Brody is quickly falling off my respected actors list. He was great in The Jacket and The Brothers Bloom. I don't know why he signs up for this stupid crap.Comment

I'm watching "School for Scoundrels". Have to wait some time to see the rest of the movie...LOL.
Anyway, I've never heard of this movie, and when it started I thought it was suppsoed to be a comedy, but it's half comedy, half weird. Still entertaining. My Specs:

Shogun Assassin, recommended to me by a coworker.
Old school martial arts movies aren't really my cup of tea. I wasn't a fan.

Re: What movies have you seen recently? Part 1
Just watched 40 Days & 40 Nights last night for the first time.
The movie does a solid job of portraying the complications sex can bring into a relationship. Hartnett's character swears it off and immediately falls for someone. I thought the girl he went after fit with the storyline. She wasn't a drop dead gorgeous '10' like his ex, but her personality molded so well with Hartnett's character. All of the guys taking the bets was a weak 2nd storyline. Something else could have been done to develop another story. Perhaps more on the ex? It seemed like she randomly popped into the story and for maybe 10-20 seconds per appearance.Twitter
