Re-watched for I don't knowth time one of my all time favorites that just chokes me up, Searching for Bobby Fischer. When Kingsley visits his student before the big match, it can be a tear jerker.

Saw The Wedding Ringer last weekend. I'm a huge Kevin Hart fan, so I loved it. If you don't like his comedy, though, you probably won't like the movie. Josh Gad was really good, and the crew of groomsmen worked well together, I thought.

Really good movie, I liked it a lot but didn't love it. I missed out so bad not seeing it in theaters on an imax screen. I was kinda pissed watching it on my TV imagining it how great this would be in imax. Great science in the movie just some of parts if the plot I didn't like.

American Sniper

Awesome movie, Bradley Cooper did fantastic in it. What I thought would have been better was they focused more on the ptsd issue more so than the tours he took. I know they had scenes of it in it but I wished they went deeper with it. Hopefully another movie can really focus on it.

Anyway still a really good movie but I don't think will win any Oscars.

It was a really awesome movie.

I'm glad I gave it a chance after a recommendation from a roommate.

It's purchased digitally, so at least I'll have it for the future.

I always start researching actors and their other roles. I didn't realize Jon Favreau played Danny in The Replacements. I also didn't realize that movie was 14 ****ing years old now.. lol.

Remember he had that run on Friends too I always forget about. Chef was good; one of those movies that can go unnoticed but shouldn't.

Saw this as well and thought it was a solid purely sci-fi movie. The only part I didn't like was....

The casting of Matt Damon. He just doesn't fit in this genre. I also thought he was miscast in True Grit.

This was the first film I saw him in (not that I haven't seen Swingers or Rudy, but I saw them after I saw this one).

By the way, The Replacements comes out Tuesday on Blu-ray.

Battleship. It was good to catch up on what Tim Riggins did after high school. He moved to Hawaii, joined the Navy, and helped save the world.

American Sniper was very good. I thought Eastwood and co. did well in keeping the movie balanced and free from any kind of attached agenda. It felt like they were just telling a story.

Bradley Cooper's performance as Kyle was great. Award worthy.

The Interview was on Netflix so I checked it out. I thought it was pretty funny. Stupid and outrageous, but funny. But I like that kind of comedy.

I was thinking while watching, this had to at least be partly inspired by Dennis Rodman's visit to North Korea when he was hangin out with Kim Jong Un, right?

American Sniper is next on my list, as far as newer releases are concerned. I'm an Eastwood fan, loved Gran Torino, and I'm definitely looking forward to this one as well.

Re-watched "The Judge". How this was not considered as an Oscar nomination over Boyhood is beyond me. It's such a solid cast and script I just don't understand it. If you haven't seen it, do so. Don't be turned off by the running time.... I could've handled an additional half hour.

Silver Linings Playbook - Had a bit of a movie night with the significant other tonight. I had been meaning to see this one and finally got around to it, and I wish I would've sooner. Great, great movie. Really felt everything, I loved it and she did too. It's a little scary how I relate to so much of this one. Standout performances from Lawrence and Cooper.

I mentioned earlier that American Sniper is the next one on my list, so I feel like it's appropriate that this was the second movie we watched tonight. It's interesting to see where Bradley Cooper has gone since his role in The Hangover, because he's really put in some awesome performances these past few years.
