I saw a move eons ago during late-night where there was some sort of haunted elevator, I believe in the Millennium Building. I can't remember if it was actually haunted, but it reminds me of what you're saying here. I wonder if that's what it was.

EDIT: I think it was called The Shaft, but couldn't find it by that name when I first Googled it, hence my post. I later found it under a different title called Down, even though the cover art clearly shows it as The Shaft. Different film, I guess... and probably just as poor, as I do believe it was haunted.

Just saw "End of Watch" and thought it was pretty good for what it is, ... an LA cop drama.

I went to This is the End today and was really disappointed. Seth Rogan abd Danny McBride were obnoxious, and it just wasn't very funny. Don't get me wrong, there were several REALLY funny parts, but overall it was severely lacking. I know the movie was trying to not be serious, but they tried way too hard. The first 20 minutes were great, but after that it waned. It was also one of those movies that should have been a solid 90 minutes and called it good, instead it was 115 minutes. Far too long.

Just watched The Avengers again. I forgot how much I liked the movie. Hopefully the second one is just as good.

I am the opposite. That movie was long, slow and boring. Nowhere near great in my book. The acting was okay but Seth Rogan was still annoying...

                        Movie 43

Pleasantly suprised that it wasn't completly terrible.
I liked the searching for banned movie set up much better than the movie pitch set up.
                        I'll do it by segment.

The Catch was just bad. If it weren't actors as good as Hugh Jackman and Kate Winslett it probably would've been entirely unwatchable.

                        Homeschooled was hilarious.

The Proposition no...no...no...nopeity no no no nope....just no.

Veronica...again,lesser actors and it falls flat on its face.

iBabe was great. Kate Bosworth was particularly amazing here and Richard Gere was clearly having a lot of fun.

Superhero Speed Dating was the best one. This was a better Batman & Robin story than The Dark Knight Rises.

                        Machine Kids meh.

Middleschool Date I dont' even know. I think there's a clever joke here about Hit Girl and Red Mist from Kick-***. Maybe that was the whole point of it.

Happy Birthday decent enough I guess. Ending was pretty funny.

Truth or Dare started out fantastic but then got really dumb.

                        Victory’s Glory...no comment.

Beezel must've been done by the people that did Ren & Stimpy.

Like Crazy - I thought it was good and as someone who's been in a LDR, I could relate to basically everything going on in the film. It could've used some more fleshing out when it came to why their relationship is worth saving again and again; we see it's hard and it sucks a lot of times but not enough of the good moments are shown. A bit depressing, but Blue Valentine is still the king of depressing relationship movies.

Drive - 5 minutes is all it took to love this movie. FANTASTIC. Everything about it just oozes cool in a very understated way and big part of that is the soundtrack, which I've been listening to way before I saw this movie. And good gawd is it brutal. It also makes me want to own driving gloves.

Iron Man 3 - I enjoyed this one. Pretty cool action scenes.

The Internship - Had some fun with this one. That kid in the strip club getting wasted for the first time was hilarious

Man Of Steel - Wasn't sure what to expect from this movie coming in. I never really watched very many of the trailers or anything for it. I liked it. Long movie though, damn.
