Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Good luck getting into the director's commentary track of that film.
I rented Sicario: Day of the Soldado and am watching it right now. I had nothing to dislike about the first one but didn't really like it much either. Let's hope this one grabs me a bit more.
I recommend you all check out Searching. Hits shelves (and Redbox) tomorrow.Boston Red Sox

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Ralph Breaks the Internet.
It was ok, definitely not better than the first. Good amount of jokes landed and the Disney princesses were awesome, wouldn’t mind a movie with all of them. Plot wasn’t interesting while the world of the internet was pretty cool. Wasn’t a fan of the Slaughter Race game that Gal Gadot was in.My biggest gripe was actually Ralph, he was pretty annoying and it’s his film. I do understand he was supposed to be annoying for the purposes of the plot but didn’t resolve enough for me to accept it all.
Also the song was terrible. They missed an opportunity to make an epic parody with the princesses.
Still worth it to check out if you were a fan of the first for the imagination of the world and little quirks and cameos.

Saw this today with the GF and our 2 11 year old girls and thought it was amazing!
Way better than the first one IMO.
Thought it was outstanding! Almost everyone I have talked to that has seen it has loved it.
I love the whole story line and the lesson taught at the end.ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
I finally saw the Batman & Bill documentary from last year. The whole story of how Bill Finger finally got his co-creator credit for Batman is worthy of a documentary itself but the whole dynamic of HOW children/YA author Marc Tyler Nobleman dug up information about Finger and finding his heretofore unknown heir in order to get the co-creator credit was fascinating. A lot of pain and family drama as it related to Bill's son and grandaughter involved in this as well.
If you haven't seen it I urge you to check it out. BTW for those who HAVE seen it. Do you know who did the comic book type animation that was used throughout?Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Silence of the Lambs
I watched this again after starting up Shea Serrano's "Villains" podcast on The Ringer. It never fails to disappoint and the performances from Foster and Hopkins are flawless. Clarice navigates a world full of creeps. The gradual buildup of Hannibal's atrocities is executed perfectly as his escape and effigy are unimaginable.
I want to tackle the books before finishing the series especially since Foster isn't involved in the other films.

EDIT: ****ing **** ****, I meant Clarice is in Hannibal, I just accidentally automatically tied the actress with the character . Nevermind, carry on...Last edited by Blzer; 12-11-2018, 02:17 PM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
I like Julianne Moore a lot, but Foster really killed the role.
