No problem. I thought the same thing when I looked at it a year or so ago. I was disappointed when I read the 88 minutes of interview footage. YouTube does (or at least did) has some very good vids from the interviews.

Last night I watched Zombieland and while it was pretty good, I didnt think it was as good or funny as most people were telling me it was. Before that I watched The Goods, Live Hard Sell Hard and it was actually better then I thought it would be.Comment

Finally watched "Frost - Nixon" ... I enjoyed it from a character/theatrical point of view. After doing some research, Ron Howard took some liberty with the truth of the situation surrounding Nixon (the "phone call scene" was made up). But the intense dialogue of the interviews was fun to watch and I felt Nixon's character was extremely well done. I'd recommend it to any history buff...I liked it.Comment

I don't know, I thought Nixon was pretty damn intimidating watching the real interviews. He was also a sly bastard too, trying to weasel out of ****.

Bring It On: Fight to the Finish. Ehhh...if you've seen one , you've seen them all. Looks good on blu ray...don't have a surround sound to give an audio rating.
Any Given Sunday is a definite upgrade to the DVD version. Big fan of AGS and it was cheap-- $10 on Amazon.Last edited by GAMEC0CK2002; 11-12-2009, 11:02 PM.Comment

funny...the frost-nixon movie has had a number of responses...have enjoyed reading them (and surprised to see so many). we've got directv and my wife & i finally watched this (dvr'd it) from one of the movie channels.
i swear when langella smiles that he looks JUST LIKE nixon!! i actually took about an hour and just did a bunch of internet searches on watergate and the interviews, etc. and was amazed - i never had really studied that era of time much. i'm a big history buff and enjoy stuff like this...and i didn't mind some of what ron howard did in adding to the story - found it to be a bit interesting.
i enjoy reading harry turtledove's alternative history novels, so this movie was a good mixture of the truth with a bit of liberty added to the story...
i figured i was a bit late to the party on this movie, so it made me laugh when i saw the responses here...LOL!
any of you guys watch the movie about Bobby Kennedy? (lot of famous actors in that...kinda liked the stories surrounding his death).STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

I watched Pink Floyd's The Wall last night and now my life has been changed forever. I thought the album by itself was depressing enough, but the movie took it to another level.

Ya, that movie/album will certainly take a little piece of you whenever they are viewed or listened to completely.Comment

To me, It's the perfect telling of Rock Star's lives in the 1970's. You all of a sudden had these Rockers making Millions and playing in Stadiums yet their lives were still not happy. Too much Drugs and Booze as well as groupies whenever they wanted made a lot of them go bad. Not to mention Record company pressure to make as much money as possible.follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment

The Hangover - Almost as funny as everyone said it was.
Inglorious Basterds - Man, what a great movie. One of those movies that just leaves you feeling so full and satisfied. One of Tarantino's best imo.
Aliens in the Attic - Ehhh, it was alright. Kids loved it.
Planet B-Boy - Really good documentary on breakdancing.
The Shape of Things - This movie is a trip, I loved it.PS: You guys are great.

Goodfellas-I know I'm nearly 20 years late, but after seeing Casino and a lot of the reviews said you liked Casino, you gotta see Goodfellas so I gave it a try. Thought it was a good movie, wasn't great to me, but I was kinda rushed watching it maybe if I watch it again where I can concentrate more I would enjoy more. But I did love Joe Pesci in it, the do ya think im funny? scene was classic, and De Niro you cant go wrong with either. But I did enjoy Casino a lot more then this, but it was a good movie and I'm glad I finally watched it.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment
