Re: What movies have you seen recently? Part 1
That's surprising. I laughed my arse off. I saw the movie fairly early so I didn't really have any expectations one way or another. That's cool though.Comment

District 9 - Really good.
Total Recall - Ever since I was a kid I really wanted to see this movie, but for whatever reason, never did. I saw it for the first time today and enjoyed it just like I always knew I would.PS: You guys are great.

Away We Go - heard good things, and it has Jon Krasinski so I bought the blu ray on amazon when it was on sale. One of the best I've seen this year.
Also watched Shaun of the Dead again last night...never gets old.Comment

Sling Blade-One of the best movies I've ever seen. Outstanding dialogue, original storyline, just a great movie to watch. Billy Bob Thornton could not of played that part any better and I didn't know he wrote and directed it. I found myself so drawn into this movie, and even know i knew what was going to happen at the end I was on the edge of my seat. It really made me think If I agree what Karl did or not, and ulitmately I think he did the right thing.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Inglorious Basterds 8.7
Wow, didn't expect the movie to be like that at all. The commercials made it seem as if it was going to be "out there" and comically funny. However there was a serious tone to it as well as a little lay back feeling when ever the "Basterds" were around.
Definitely a movie worth seeingComment

Re: What movies have you seen recently? Part 1
My Psych professor recommended it to use as well, but it looks like a pretty expensive Blu-ray purchase and I'm not too fond into renting, especially if I like it enough to buy it (just tacks onto that price). I guess I'll have to wait my turn to borrow it from whatever friend might own it.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently? Part 1
Anyway...had a bout of insomnia last night, so I ended up watching Paul Blart, again. Our family has recently gotten into a "King of Queens" kick. Kevin James is a tremendous slapstick actor. I wish he made more movies. I wonder why he doesn't? Maybe I am the only one that thinks he is good.Comment

re: "bit of a spoiler". I don't want to know someone's impression of how main characters presented in scenes, especially if I can have a particular perspective going into the movie. Now I'm looking for this. But it's not the end of the world.Comment

I just find it odd that you are mandating policy upon the Original Poster. I don't want to get into semantics, I just want to talk about movies.Comment
