Both Goodfellas and Casino are up there with movies like Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Heat, The Departed, Gang of New York, The Count of Monte Crisco, etc. and should be in just about every guys Top 10.... IMO of course....
My list of "Can-Watch-Every-Time-Its-On" would too include Gangs of New York and Pulp Fiction, along with Shawshank Redemption, Godfather I and II, and Top Gun.

Got around to watching Pelham 123. You know, John Tavolta and Denzell Washington have to be two of the most versitile actors of our time. Both actors can play any type of roll and both can play the protagonist and antagonist roles equally as well. Together, they were dynamic. I enjoyed this movie. I enjoyed the special feature on "The Third Rail" as well.

The Brothers Bloom. Excellent writing, excellent cast. Can't recommend this more.

If you just want action and a good time "Ninja Assassin" is awesome.

I just saw Star Trek. I really didn't have any expectations going into it, and I'm not a Star Trek fan (though I don't hate it either), but I've got to say I really enjoyed that movie. It's to the point where I hope they continue with a sequel. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it felt a bit predictable at times.

Jennifer's Body - I thought it was pretty funny.

Gamer - Pretty mediocre movie but interesting plot.

4 Christmases - Very funny, I really enjoyed it.

Equilibrium - Lots of Gun Fu, Christian Bale, almost Matrix-esque in it's presentation but you could also see a LOT of influence from movies like 1984 and Blade Runner. I really enjoyed it.

                G-Force - Meh

It was so hard for me to feel Zachary Quinto as Spock. His features and expressions were just wrong imo. Plus, I kept thinking Sylar.

well I don't watch Heroes so that didn't really affect my viewing at all.

On a different note, I just watched The Prestige and I really enjoyed that as well. I had heard it was a quality flick but was surprised it was actually as good as it was.

Great movie, much better than The Illusionist, which I also think is pretty decent (don't know why it's not yet out on Blu-ray though).

I think there's a mini-split here between these 2 movies. I thought The Prestige was incredulous and blew its' authenticity, whereby the story plot in The Illusionist was credible.

You're not alone, I was expecting trash and got an entertaining movie. Liked the ending a lot, especially the credits sequence. Plus Megan Fox didn't do a bad job. Not like people want you to believe, but thats just one man's opinion.
