No sir, only Stand By Me (which is probably older than The Lost Boys) and Phone Booth.

EDIT: I lied, I guess he was in The Three Musketeers as well, but I haven't seen that in maybe ten years now, so I would have no real memory of him since I didn't know who he was then.

      Funny Games.

Just tried to shock and chastise the audience, but the acting performances were very good and it was well-made.

        Beautiful Girls.

I was bored but it was a fairly decent movie. Natalie Portman is about 13 in the movie. And the lead character kept saying in about 5-6 years she will be hot. He was right.

I saw Moon last night. Best movie of the year, IMO. It reminded me a lot of classics like 2001: A Space Odyssey.

              In Bruges

Wow, I can't believe I didn't see this movie earlier. It was bloody brilliant! I always thought Colin Farrell should get more work after seeing what he could do in Phone Booth, and I admired him much the same (generically) in S.W.A.T. and The Recruit. I knew he was Irish and have only heard his accent in a commentary, but I thought it helped play a part in the hilarity of this movie. But having said that, this isn't really a comedy. It is a dark comedy if anything, and is saddening all the same. It seriously has the strangest of characters and acquaintances, but again... all part of the story's originality.

Sometimes it's tough for me to speak about a movie without going into spoilers, especially this one... so I'll leave it with the ambiguous nonsense that I just posted above. Unlike Mirrors, I do recommend this movie to anyone and will consider finding this ACAP (as cheap as possible) on Blu-ray.

                I saw Invictus yesterday

Good movie IMO. Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon were great.

That movie was kind of creepy because Natalie Portman was so young and had a little thing with the main character... lol

"A beautiful girl can make you dizzy, like you've been drinking jack and coke all morning. She can make you feel high, full of the single greatest commodity known to man: promise. Promise of a greater day. Promise of a greater hope. Promise of a new tomorrow. This particular aura can be found in the gait of a beautiful girl. In her smile and in her soul and in the way she makes every rotten little thing about life seem like it's gonna be ok."

All from memory... I think I got most of it right. I've only seen the movie once, but Taking Back Sunday uses that quote in the beginning of one of their songs.

I watched Where the Wild Things Are last night and I gotta say, I liked it a lot. It wasn't at all what I expected, and it definitely isn't for kids. Great visuals and the story was a lot "deeper" than I ever imagined it would be. Not to mention the nostalgia factor. I got my son a copy of the book for christmas, I can't wait to read it to him.

I need to try and rewatch District 9. I was too tired and ended up falling asleep. I hate it when I do that.

I was then wide awake to watch Extract. I wish I would have fallen asleep for that one instead. I think that was pretty close to being a crappy movie. I like Jason Bateman in supportive roles but he doesn't quite have enough to be the lead.

I don't know how anyone can fall asleep watching a movie. Even the most boring movies ever I never fall asleep.

Battle For Haditha. Turned it off. I hate anti-American sentiment movies. Not needed at a time like this.
