      Moon- 8.4

Pretty interesting movie, the "twist" is within the first 15 minutes of the movie, but the whole movie is really about the reaction and outcome of the twist than the twist its self.

Sam did an fantastic job with the acting. The acting was top notch considering it was only one person lol

But I did love Joe Pesci in it, the do ya think im funny? scene was classic, and De Niro you cant go wrong with either. But I did enjoy Casino a lot more then this, but it was a good movie and I'm glad I finally watched it.
It wasn't great to you! Watch it again in a more relaxed manner. This movie is a Top5 movie. It made me want to join the mob, but I eventually decided against that career move because I am tenured, not Italian, and couldn't kill a fly.

Quickly here, though of course Pesci stole many scenes, I really liked Ray Liotta. He was perfect in that part. He set the table for De Niro and Pesci to be De Niro and Pesci.

Goodfellas is one of those movies I can watch anytime it is on TV at any point of the movie.

Yea it was dumb, I just like those dumb funny movies if that makes any sense. The one liners were insane I thought. "In the schoolyard, a Don Ready is a euphemism for a hard-on" I almost fell off the couch

You should check out the Redbox outside of Walgreens or something. $1 rental for one night. I was skeptical at first about using a vending machine to rent dvd's buy my girlfriend did it for months so I decided it's safe enough. It's nice being able to run down to the booth and rent a movie at any hour.

A bit off the topic, but does anyone know when "Moon" is coming out on video? I have been wanting to see it for the longest, but I checked Blockbuster today and it isn't out yet.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

They're are addressing that in Duncan Jones' next movie.

I just saw Whatever Works tonight. It was terrible. I thought it would be good because Larry David is in it and I love Curb Your Enthusiasm, but that was not the case. I've never liked Woody Allen movies, anyways.

Righteous Kill - Awful. Just... awful. DeNiro and Pacino, you're better than that. You too, Gugino.

The Goods - Solid comedy. I could've done without the "cougar wants to sleep with a 10 year old that looks like a 30 year old" storyline, but besides that I laughed a bunch. It does help that i'm one of the few people on earth that likes Jeremy Piven. Also, Will Ferrell in a cameo is hilarious.

                                I second this post.

Both Goodfellas and Casino are up there with movies like Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Heat, The Departed, Gang of New York, The Count of Monte Crisco, etc. and should be in just about every guys Top 10.... IMO of course....
