Yeah there's nothing in there that would spoil anything at all. You see much worse in actual reviews.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Nobody's mandating anything. I know you see much worse in reviews and trailers which is why for some movies I largely avoid them. If the poster I responded to has a problem with me, then he can take it up with me here or pm. I'm not sure why you two are jumping in.

Open Range-Directed by and starring Kevin Costner and with one of my favorite actors Robert Duvall. Very good movie, if you like westerns this is a must see. Slow at some points but the battle scene at the end was perfectly done.

I agree, this was a very good movie. This movie was typical of Kevin Costner, slow paced when needed to develop the plot and characters.

I also agree with your liking of Robert Duvall. I can't remember any part he has done that wasn't good. His role in Lonesome Dove remains one of my favorites of all time.

I really enjoyed that movie. I think it is heavily underrated. Although it was slow at times, it still delivered throughout and especially in the end. I'm going to have to go back and re-watch this now that it is on my mind again.

              All of Me (1984)

Roger is called in to change the will of an aging millionairess. She has made arrangements for her soul to be 'captured' and transferred into the body of a younger girl. After an argument about the will, the millionairess dies, but her spirit somehow lands in Rogers body...
This movie has some pretty good performances especially from Steve Martin as Roger Cobb. Lilly Tomlin does a great job with the limited screen time (you see her in mirrors or reflected glass) and voice over when talking to Roger. The movie is pretty uneven but those two performances make the movie better then it had any right to be.

Martin is insanely funny with his body motions portraying the battle between both he and the Edwina Cutwater characters over his body. The court scene is probably the best scene in the movie as well as the scene where Martin tries to have sex with the younger girl. (Victoria Tennant as the doublecrossing Terry Hoskins) The movie has some heart to it and the resolution while a bit silly is pretty fun.

Four Christmases - Pretty good. Predictable, but it's a comedy, so if you laugh on the way to the predictable ending it's all worth it.

Jerry Maguire - Believe it or not, I had never seen this. I realize i'm like 15 years behind the times with this one but I can describe it with one word: Incredible. I wish Tom Cruise still made movies this good. This movie had me at hello. [/phrases that were probably used in every review 15 years ago]

Funny People - I liked it a lot. I thought it was really, really funny and I thought George was a really interesting character. Sure, it's long and it really really feels like two different movies molded together, but I don't mind long movies at all. Especially when they're good.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - Awesome. Not Prisoner of Azkaban awesome, but it sits at #2 in the Potter film cannon. It's weird how talented these actors have become. The first couple movies are damn near unbearable, but by #6 they've become legitimate actors.

Night At The Museum 2 (Smithsonian). Not nearly as good as the first one.

I saw Ninja Assassin 2 days ago and it was horrible. I wasn't expecting some deep story, just 300 with Asians but they couldn't even get that right with their horrible CGI. Once someone got cut up you could tell that the blood and everything was fake and that along with the horrible acting and ******** story came together to make a terrible movie.

In the midst of watching a ton of Humphrey Bogart movies. Nothing too earth shattering so far though I re-watched a movie called Crime School (1938) with the Dead End Kids. It's a prime of example of what kind of stuff Warners was capable of putting out at the time with socially aware films that are entertaining.

I will be giving a lot of input on a flick at 8 PM called The Oklahoma Kid. (1939) The twist to this little flick is that it's more or less the gangster type movies he and James Cagney did throughout that decade but in a western setting. I've seen clips of this movie and Bogart looks totally silly in a Western!

I watched Bruno the other day, had some very funny moments but not as good as Borat IMO. Then last night I watched Obsession, fairly decent movie, pretty predictable though.

Best movie i've seen in a while is Gran Turino, man that movie was great.

Watched Blood: The Last Vampire (live action) on blu ray. Awesome action/horror movie. The CGI was awful though. Kept me entertained for 90 minutes.

One MIssed Call - Complete waste of time.

Extract - Incredibly average movie, but it had a couple laugh out loud moments. Nothing special.

500 Days of Summer - Pretty decent.

I always tell people that if you can't get past the first minute of Bruno, then you probably shouldn't watch the movie; and most people don't listen until it's too late
