If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

I watched The Descent: Part 2 the other night. Not as good as the first one. The Descent was at least believable in a sense, but some of the stuff in the sequel is just silly.Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeHow many brothers does Sub-zero running around in his clothing? Watched Blood: The Last Vampire live action blu ray. There's something cool about an Asian school girl that hacks and slashes the heck out of demons.
Liked it better than Ninja and Ninja Assassin.Comment

Im kinda bummed I didnt fork over the extra cash for 3d Imax.
The graphics were amazing and the story was great with no dumb crude humor or anything. Some funny parts and it was kinda touching for me. It was really cool to see how the movie played out and certain parts unfolded.
The Viking Stoic (gerard butler) looks fantastic and stands out as graphical prowess IMOCharger Fan Born and Raised!

The Good, The Bad, The Weird. Really fun Sergio Leone inspired Korean Western. Lots of action, lots of comedy and it looks flat out great.
Also saw Run Lola, Run. Despite the premise I found it a little boring.Last edited by trobinson97; 04-05-2010, 07:26 PM.PS: You guys are great.

Watched "The Ugly Truth" on netflix. Decent romantic comedy but the ending was way, way, way to predictable. Let me say that Katherine Heigl is easy on the eyes.
Saw the shorter version (2 1/2 hrs) of Red Cliff. Amazing. 9/10 even with the English dubbing.Last edited by GAMEC0CK2002; 04-06-2010, 03:12 PM.Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently? Part 1
Just saw Paranormal Activity on DVD
It gets a gigantic meh from me. Most impressive thing for me was the budget of the film. It wasn't really scary to me at all. I love horror films and I get easily nervous but this one just didn't do anything for me.
Maybe it was because I watched the incredibly sucky "Diary of a Ghost Hunter" on Netflix a few months back, but this genre ain't doing it for me.
