Watched Brothers starring Toby Mcguire, Natalie Portman & Jake Gyllenhaal. Enjoyed it and thought everyone gave great performances. The two little girls that played Mcguire's daughters in the film were also impressive considering the serious material they dealt with. It might not be for everyone as the film is pretty somber and slow paced but it kept me interested.

I've had this on my queue for a while now on Netflix. I need to watch it soon before they yank it.

Avatar - This was the first time watching the movie since I watched it in the theater, so it had been awhile. I still think the movie is amazing despite how simplistic/generic the story and some of the characters are. The whole appeal to me are the visuals and imagery of Pandora. Its still amazing to me how great the CGI looks and how amazing everything looks on Pandora. At the end of the second hour I felt like this could have been a great trilogy if Cameron would have fleshed out the story and characters more, but even as one movie it is still pretty good and the story isn't THAT big of a negative.

Isn't he still planning on making it a trilogy, or did he cancel the project?

EDIT - IMDB still has them both "announced" and I couldn't find any "Avatar 2 and 3 canceled" articles, though I didn't look hard...so don't worry, there's still at least another one coming.

I believe the early, early rumor was that he was going to show the Underwater side of Pandora so he could "create another entirely new world" with new creatures and stuff. Same main characters, but they move underwater for some reason, or something.

He is, but I felt like the movie itself could have been broken up into three movies and allowed Cameron to build a better, more realized story. Supposedly the next one is suppose to focus on the oceans of Pandora.

So I just went and saw the new Thor movie staring an aussie as the main character and I was very impressed. I enjoyed it immensely and suggest any who are fans of previous Marvel comic adaptions to head down and see it.

Watched The Express the story of Ernie Davis. I liked the movie even though things are changed or fictionalized for dramatic purposes. I am a fan of sports movies and this was entertaining and well acted.

I watched Sex Drive with low expectations, but surprisingly it did not suck. The story was familiar to me while I couldn't predict what would happen next. Yes, it had it's one liners, but I had some genuine LOL moments.

Sex Drive is very under-appreciated. Not a great film by any means, but funnier than expected. Saw it in theaters and was satisfied with the purchase.

Those guys did steal the film.

I think that movie's name does it no favors. Sex Drive just makes it sound like it's going to be a ****ty movie.

Exactly. I really didn't want to watch it because it just sounded like a lame shock value driven movie but then I was like:

Horrible Bosses- Funniest comedy of the year. Charlie Day is the man, and I loved Jamie Foxx's character. And that was the hottest Jennifer Aniston has ever been.

Insidious- Great horror movie. It was a refreshing change from the cheap slasher flicks that rely on a lot of blood and cheap screams.
