Hall Pass: A big pile of suck. Outside of Jason Sudeikis saying something occasionally amusing, it's pretty damn not funny.

At least it's got Nicky Whelan, so I feel like there was a purpose to watching this.

Wow. I normally like / dislike the same movies as you but not this time. I thought Hall Pass was great.

I watch Paul yesterday. I went in with low expectations but I gotta say:


It had a prett solid cast: Simon Pegg and Nick Frost from Shaun of the dead fame, Jason Bateman, Signourney Weaver, Bill Hader etc. I kinda thought the voice of Seth Rogan as the alien was a bit out of place but overall it was pretty decent imo. 7/10

Insidious. Pretty scary...just a few holes in the plot. Think Paranormal Activity meets Poltergeist. Good acting, ok effects, not gruesome (which I like). I liked the ending.

I thought the acting was good. Nothing Oscar-worthy but decent enough.

Just got done watching Unknown.

It's a pretty good movie, but you have to pay attention. Not to the extent of a movie like inception, but it can still get tricky. I won't be rushing to watch it again, any time soon, but it was still good.

Had a movie night with this girl the other night, watched Law Abiding Citizen on Netflix. A complete badass movie, loved the fact that I wasn't sure if I should be cheering for the main character or not lol

Also got through half of Sex Drive before falling asleep, hilarious movie but of the raunchy variety obv

Watched Friends With Benefits last night. I really enjoyed it. Good story and really funny.

Finished watching Memento again for the second time, movie is still freaking AMAZING. My goodness is it still striking and intelligent even after multiply viewings.

The scene where he hits the chick and she talks about how she's going to use him to her advantage is still one of the most striking scenes in a movie. The characters though not many are all excellent and the fact that the movie doesn't play like a regular way makes it all the more immersive.

A little synopsis about what the movie is about:

A man, suffering from short-term memory loss, uses notes and tattoos to hunt for the man he thinks killed his wife

I don't think anything is perfect but this movie is damn near PERFECT in my eyes

City of God - Easily one of the best movies I have seen. It is very violent with a lot of shock value. Based on true events in the life of a young man growing up in the favelas of Brazil. Poverty, corruption, drugs, guns, sex and violence stricken an area and fortunately for the young man followed in the film he finds a way out.

I didn't say you said it was great. I can't even give it a good. Thought the whole plot was crap. But then again, I guess horror films struggle to attract better actors.

Watched Office Space again. Yeeeeaaaaaaaaa.

Watched the new Harry Potter. I really enjoyed it. Hard to believe it's over after all these years.
