I'd like to hear guys compare it to Tangled. Have you seen that? How would you compare the two?

I just noticed my mom bought Frozen, so I'll probably see it within the next few days. I love Tangled, but the previews for Frozen weren't ever really swooning me over.

However, with the amount of times I have heard people sing "Let It Go" and with the song not being that great to begin with, I'd have to imagine that it's either just that catchy of a tune for them, or it's a great highlight moment of the movie (like "I See the Light" in Tangled, or better yet "A Whole New World" in Aladdin), or the movie is just that great for these kiddlings.

I like both films. Neither are original, but they are both entertaining and well made.

In my opinion, Tangled has better and more frequent comedic moments, and Mandy Moore was excellent. I also think it had stronger tertiary characters.

Frozen did have a strong marquee tune w/Let it Go (it works very well in the film and is a key emotional beat). I liked Bell's performance and was impressed with her singing ability. The film started off with more gravity to the story...it was nearly sad but not to the level of Up.

Frozen's strength for me was that it has a nice half-twist and the character of Elsa was interesting.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier-I enjoyed it. That's about all I got to say about that.

I watched Donnie Darko for the first time. Solid movie. I enjoyed the cast overall.

Saw American Hustle and Hunger Games: Catching Fire yesterday. Loved both of them. The 4 leads in American Hustle put on great performances in their own rights. Jennifer Lawrence was amazing in both films, but especially in HG. The cast overall in that movie was outstanding and it's one of the better movies overall that I've seen in a long time.

The only part I hated was the little "I love you" scene thrown in there during the games. Felt contrived and put in there to pander to the lowest common denominator. Otherwise, I agree... Fantastic movie and I wasn't a big fan of the first.

Saw Fast 6, or Furious 6. It was alright. I finally saw the runway scene the whole internet was making fun of when it first came out. That was kinda ridiculous. A little too happily ever after at the end though.
