Divergent. It was okay. I could do without the cheesy pop soundtrack. I find the story more compelling than the Hunger Games.

Frontera. Ed Harris needs to stop making western themed movies ending in "a" (as in, Appaloosa). Pretty much sucked and had a bad ending.

Child of God. Yep, I walked away disturbed. That's for sure. I will say that Scott Haze did an amazing job, but everything you look up on this movie and you would think that James Franco was the primary star. Actually, he was hardly in it (though I guess he thought he should be out front since he wrote the screenplay and directed it ----- Hollywood). Haze should have received top billing for his portrayal of a very disturbed and intellectually/emotional bereft back hills culprit. I like the way it initiated, but wasn't crazy about the ending. I can't imagine being given this script and agreeing to do this role, however. Man.

I will be interested in seeing Haze in other roles.

The Unauthorized Saved By the Bell Story

This was on lifetime, but caught it on the web. Yeah its cheesy but it wasn't that bad, had to see how one of my favorite shows growing up came together. Its Dustin Diamonds perspective and while he wined a bit, he really was the Skreech of the group in real life. All the Mario Lopez douche parts were funny.

              Captain America Winter Soldier

It was a good movie, didn't live up to the large expectations it built over the months tho. I'd still put it above Avengers and GOTG though. Easily had the best story of the Marvel movies and comedy that's not GOTG.

Watched Death Proof last night for the first time in a while. Such a cool movie, love the driving scenes at the end.

I was hoping Planet Terror would come on after, but no such luck.

I'd say that's enough for me. No Marvel movie has been a good movie outside being a superhero movie for me, personally. For me, only Spider-Man 2, Nolan's Batman films, and the two recent X-Men films have done that.

It's fine. Not the worst way I've ever spent two hours, also not nearly the best.

Just go watch the 1990s ones instead. Except the time traveling one.

In the past 24 hours, watched both Field of Dreams and Moneyball.

Field of Dreams was good main storyline and all, just not that interested in the side stuff.

Moneyball was great movie. That and "42"(Jackie Robinson movie) are 2 of my fave baseball movies.

Found a really well done Robert Downey Jr. movie last night, "Restoration" from 95. A nicely filmed period piece about Robert Downey Jr. being a doctor for King Charles II. Probably because of games like Assassin's Creed, but the whole "plague doctor" costume looks awesome.

                          Edge of Tomorrow.

Very well done. The CGI creatures are menacing as hell and look great. Cool ending as well. Gotta admit that Cruise generally gets into some of the best flicks.

                              They Came Together

In which Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, and David Wain (director of Wet Hot American Summer) take a torch to the romantic comedy genre with glorious results.

This won't be for everyone, but if you like it you're going to absolutely love it.

                                There Will Be Blood (again)

Didn't really like the ending the first time I watched it. Watching it the second time didn't really change my mind.
