Finally got around on seeing Gravity. So wished I saw this in the theater. Loved it, deserved all the awards it got.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
With halloween upcoming I've been watching the Halloween Ulitmate Deluxe Collection on blu-ray. Of course the original halloween is far & away the best but halloween 4 to me is the best of the sequels. I tried to watch rob zombies two halloween films but couldn't stomach them as they are both complete trash."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

FURY - REALLY good movie!!! LOVED it. Had the feel of "Saving Private Ryan." Maybe not totally on that level, but if you are a WW2 movie buff, this movie was outstanding. Told from the perspective of tank fighting - well worth your time. Brad Pitt was really good - reminded me of Hanks' character in SPR. Highly recommend. Even my wife loved it...STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

ParaNorman -
This was probably one of the best animated movies I've seen in a while giving me the same vibe that the first How to Train Your Dragon did. I loved that it was stop animation, but I did not realize it was produced using 3D printers. Pretty cool. The movie itself was great being able to obtain that key animated movie success of operating on both a child's level while also being a fun film for the adults. The "Don't shoot at innocent civilians; that's for the police to do," for example, killed me while making me twinge. Overall its a great story with great animation and a good amount of laughs for everyone.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
When I get back home, I'm gonna watch "Zombieland" again. I love the intro to this movie. I love the part about his rules to surviving Zombieland.
Columbus (narrating): Oh America. I wish I could tell that this was still America. But I've come to realize that you can't have a country without people. And they're are no people here.
Man: No, stop. Ahhhhhhhh!
(Zombie attacks man and bites him.)
Columbus (narrating): No, my friends this is now the United States of Zombieland.
(Zombie burps.)
Never mind, I don't have to leave after all.Last edited by bradtxmale; 10-23-2014, 07:39 PM.Comment
