Just watched Lone Survivor. I didn't know much about the story. I enjoyed it.

Interstellar. Pure awesomeness; a Nolan sci-fi film. The sci-fi aspects were prevalent, but also an excellent story with deep, heavy themes. The theater definitely got dusty a few times, and despite being nearly three hours, the action was so well paced that it never dragged. I found the subject matter fascinating, and felt as though I was kept on my toes often. There were quite a few intense, armrest-gripping moments.

This was truly an epic. The visuals were great, the score was perfect, and the acting was on point to accompany a fantastic directorial job. I recommend Interstellar highly.

X Men Days of Future Past

I liked it. But can somebody explain to me how Prof X was alive in the dystopian future? I thought he was killed in like X2? or was it 3? Which ever one Jean went crazy in.

In other terms, it was Bryan Singer's way of saying: "Screw everything Brett Ratner did to these characters, let's bring them back because the fans love them." Works for me, though I do wonder whether the younger actors (McAvoy, Fassbender, and Lawrence) will then be a part of any new films.

As far as Magneto and Xavier, they're gonna have to start considering replacements. McKellan turned 75 this year and Stewart turned 74. They may have one more in them.....hopefully their health is well.

I mean from the beginning of the movie. Im talking about the timeline before Logan is sent back to change things. In the timeline that the movie starts in where the super sentinels are just mowing the Xmen down. In that timeline Prof X should be dead if its stems from the same timeline of X2.

                I hope Im clear.

Uh How is Charles able to tell Logan to go back in time in the first place, if he is suppose to be dead in that timeline which stems from the original X films where he is killed by Jean?

Oi, totally forgot about that. Yes, an after-credits scene in X3 permits this (still don't get it though). Forgot about that for a moment as well.

My previous post explains the end to DoFP, though.

Music score was way too loud at various points. There were critical moments where dialogue was necessary to hear, yet the music volume overshadowed key discussion points. Can't believe they would have released the movie without giving that some better editing.

                        Captain America Winter Soldier

It was ok. The action was cool, the story was straight forward not too complicated (which may be a bad or good thing). I feel like they didnt do enough with the Winter Soldier thing. By the end of the movie I felt the character was pretty unnecessary. Probably only there to set up something in the future.

Anyway my real issue with the movie is that they did something to Scarlett Jo's makeup or hair that made her look less than spectacular in a couple scenes. Unforgivable. Fire that makeup artist immediately. You really got to go out of your way to make her look less than a 10.

Btw they're gonna have to start adding some layers to Captain America (that goes for Thor too btw).

Yeah, people can love Scarlett all they want, but I really don't think she looked good in this movie at all.
