Well, expectations are lower any more.

Watched Memento, though had to do so in pieces. You don't want to do that. I'm so confused, but I don't think I can go back and watch it again.

Watched Dirty Rotten Scoundrels with my teenager last night. The scenes with Rupert always get a laugh. Clever little comedy overall. You can see this is one of the movies where Steve Marting goes from goofy comedian to more light-hearted comedic actor.

The acting was horrible, plot was ********. How could you like it? Plus the protagonist was a *******. The gross factor was a 20. Soooo disgusting!!

This is her best line in the movie.

"I can't sacrifice an animal, Im a vegetation!" Its either kill her cat, or save her life.... Nice.

Liked most horror movies like this but didn't love Drag Me to Hell. It was way too over the top (as zombie movies go) for me. Probably a 7 out of 10 ...whereas I would give Zombieland or Dawn of the Dead (remake) a 8.5-9 out of 10.

Just watched Alien Apocalypse & Man with the Screaming Brain. I've been on a B movie Bruce Campbell kick lately. About the re-watch the Evil Dead Trilogy next...

Went with the Mrs to see Sex and the City 2. Not that bad (for a girly movie), but it was soooo long. But I really liked the opening credits with that NY city style.

I read Roger Ebert and whoever reviews movies for IFC's reviews of the movie and they tore it apart pretty hilariously.

Youth in Revolt- Thought it was hilarious, loved every second of it but Im also a huge Michael Cera fan so that might be part of the reason I enjoyed it so much.

Alice in Wonderland- MUCH better then I thought it would be. Ive never really cared for Tim Burton movies in the past but this one was the exception to that as I thought it was a fantastic movie from start to finish.

Loved it also. I'm also a huge Michael Cera fan and I like all his movies with the exception of Year One.

Watched 4 movies over the weekend due to my bad back and having to rest...

The Blind Side - in a few words, was a brilliant, uplifting story

Edge of Darkness - not the Mel Gibson version of Taken I was expecting. More story and drama and less action but still a very good movie. Mel Gibson was top class.

Ninja Assassin - Sort of like a moving comic book at times, but I didn't get into the story, characters or action scenes. C+ if I have to rate it.

Super Troopers - after loving Slammin' Salmon I went back to watch Super Troopers for the first time ever. I really laughed out loud a lot! These guys are hilarious! Not as funny as SS but very well done!

This one seems to have flown under the radar a bit. I saw it when it first went to theaters with some friends and we all liked it. Pretty well-received by critics too but I don't think it made much money.

I think it just kind of looked like one of those movies where all of the funny parts were in the trailer. I may have to give this one a look.

I still don't understand all the Drag Me To Hell hate. Its Sam Raimi and he gives us a Sam Raimi campy horror movie. I loved it. I would recommend it to anybody who enjoyed Bubba Ho-Tep, Army of Darkness, and the Evil Dead films.
