Watched Taxi Driver for the first time yesterday. Enjoyed it. Robert De Niro was fantastic.Comment

Saw The Night Before last night and thought it was pretty funny. Seth Rogen was awesome. JGL didn't really fit. His character seemed forced at times, like he was trying too hard to be funny. It didn't take away too much from the movie, though. A couple of nice cameos, and a good story to go with the laughs. The Rogen scene at the church was hilarious.Comment

Saw No Escape yesterday. Pretty thrilling. I thought Brosnan would have a larger role but it was cool he didn't bail Wilson and his family out every time they ran in to an obstacle.
Btw, he pearled those child throws. I appreciated how ripped up they all were after making that jump. Good flick.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

No, no jump scares, just a couple of interesting elements. Maybe one jump moment but its telegraphed so your expecting it. I thoroughly enjoyed it even though my fiancé found it to be stupidComment

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
I've watched a bunch of movies recently and I was gonna do a quick rundown but while it is still fresh in my mind I wanted to say I finally got around to watching American Hustle. Have had it ready to go for like a year but just now checked it out.
Being a huge fan of The Fighter and Silver Linings, it was cool to see a "different" feel from this David O. Russell movie. The cast is fantastic and I found myself strangely aligned with Christian Bale's character. Amy Adams gives a powerhouse performance in this one, maybe the first time I can remember Jennifer Lawrence out-acted by a fellow female cast member anytime recently. I enjoyed it very much. I am very excited for "Joy," looks great.
Next two movies on my playlist are Dallas Buyers Club and Dark Places. Will check em out tonight after the games"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Watched Ant Man. I thought the idea was pretty silly to begin with but it actually turned out to be interesting, kept me entertained throughout, Rudd is one of my favorite comedic actors. Would I watch it again? Probably not. But that's probably because im' notbig fan of these marvel superhero movies.Comment

Somehow stumbled onto The Legend of 1900 thru YouTube browsing.
Never heard of it beforehand but being a piano player myself, this is a must watch so I'm gonna rent it soon. I see the reviews are good so I'm excited!Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Wasn't really watching TV much, but just randomly stumbled on a channel airing Matilda(90s movie featuring a girl with telekinesis). Decided to watch the end of it since I remember watching that movie around the time it did come out,and haven't seen it since probably around that time. Hadn't seen it in so long, but I still remembered the ending.
That principal lol. Actually laying her hands on students and throwing kids through a window and having some torture chamber for them. Kind of surprised in a movie like that, they basically flat out said that the principalSpoilerkilled her step-brother and framed it to look like he did it himself
That teacher(who most recently played Peters mom on the last 2 Spiderman movies) was the nicest teacher on any tv show/movie ever. 20ish years later, I still say that about her.Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
A Bronx Tale. Long story short, after a recent conversation, it led me to this movie that honestly I couldn't remember if I had seen or not. I left in the camp of I wanted to like it more. I think it comes down to it being weird that DeNiro was on the anti-mob end of things. DeNiro can play certain roles, but anti-mob just isn't/wasn't one of them. Also, the actor portraying his son was cast well as far as looks. I'm amazed that it really wasn't DeNiro's actual son. His acting was okay but sort of wore on me toward the latter part of the movie. Also, some of the scenes just seemed too staged, if that makes sense. It's an interesting look at a time period and environment that was quite unique, but not a top DeNiro movie for me.Comment

With the new star wars movie coming out next week, I won't check it out till after Christmas, but will watch every other one before that. So what order exactly should I watch all the previous movies in?Comment

However, my friend recommended this interesting order: 4, 5, 2, 3, 6. Haha guess he wasn't much a fan of 1.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
I'm thinking of doing that too,but seems like there's so many possible ways to actually go through the series. 1-6,especially first time through entire series,I'd think would be the best way. But for those who've actually seen it, hopefully they can provide help on this.Comment
