I had no idea Oldboy was a triology, the first is a classic. Train to Busan is a great zombie too.

I’ll have to check out more Korean Cinema. I’ll check out The Handmaiden next

I’ve seen this a long time ago. I’ve actually owned it some point but I forgot most of it. The two brothers are on different sides right?

Definitely need to rewatch it.

Just watched Hitch again (it's on Hulu and IMDB). Still holds up imo. It's like we get a little bit more Doug Heffernan outside of KOQ if he was single. Thought the chemistry between him and Will Smith was pretty good.

Everything holds up except Will Smith's ending with his love interest. Once Kevin James seals the deal...the movie is over for me.

Ehhh.....just a little romance drama. She played an angle with him. He ended up resorting to what he did when he thought of himself as a goofus in college with his first heartthrob is all. Chicks probably dug that.

Out-freakin-standing in every way. Absolutely loved it, and as much (or more) a study of the friendship between Miller and Shelby (Bale and Damon) as it was about the car and LeMans. Brilliant...deserved it's Best Picture nom, and win for Sound. Watch it loud!

The Natural - was on late last night and I couldn't sleep. Man, I just LOVE that movie. Redford is deadpanned, but it's movies like this that take me back in time and make me wish I could stop a clock...

JoJo Rabbit, wasn’t sure what to expect and was worried after 5 minutes it was going to be unbearably corny but it mellowed out and turned out to be pretty good. “What are the Jews like?” “We’re like you, but human.” Gotta be the cutest movie invoking Nazis ever made, but they make their side pretty clear so it avoids IMO being problematic. All of the dramatic moments hit their mark, as did most of the comedy. It’s no Parasite, but a solid movie.

• Jojo Rabbit: 6/10 [Taika Waititi is like a unassuming, actually likeable Robert Downey Jr.]
• A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood: 6/10
• Waves: 6/10 [So much undeserving stuff gets nominated while this is sitting right there.]
• Meeting Gorbachev: 6/10 [I understand that as a German Herzog feels the necessity to narrate the movie himself but he really should had have let someone else (a German, no problem) narrate this movie. Plus as a piece of history, aside from having Gorbachev do the interview, I found the documentary lacking. A missed opportunity.]
• Knives Out: 6/10
• Searching For Bobby Fischer: 6/10
• Dark Waters: 6/10

I love this movie so much. I made sure wifey and baby stayed over at grandma’s and blasted the **** out of this movie. Sounds so good on atmos
