I sure hope Nolan gets a chance at directing one of them.

I thought this was going to be a "trilogy" of sorts. Guess I was wrong, and in fact I'm glad I am.

He is right at the top for me. At the least he's 1b, in my opinion. Maybe 1c. It's hard to choose.

          Great news!

If the quality holds up he could go down as 1B to Sean Connery as 007.

For me, he's by himself at number one, by a very large margin.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

I like Daniel Craig as Bond.

With my age, I grew up in the Brosnan era so they're both tied for me.

I would probably appreciate the others more if I was a bit older.

Co-sign. Not to mention, the hundreds of hours in college spent playing Goldeneye.

Connery is definitely my favorite old school Bond.

                        WOW!

This definitely has a classic feel to it with a touch of modernity. It's definitely one of the best theme songs since the turn of the century.

My favorite Bond actor was the one who did only one episode "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". That movie IMHO was the 2nd best Bond movie thus far after Casino Royal. If he took over the franchise he could have been a great Bond.

                            **EDIT**
His name was George Lazenby. Easily the best Bond and he only did one movie!

Alicia Keys and Jack White was a weird mix. I liked the song overall, but it would have been better with only one of them.

I agree that OHMSS was a great Bond film but I don't think people were ready for a stripped down Bond series in the '70s as that looked like the direction they were heading in with Lazenby in the lead role. It certainly would've been a grittier Bond in the tradition of Connery but it was too similar in tone to Connery that people rejected Lazenby's portrayal just on the basis of being so similar thus giving audiences a DIRECT comparison to Connery. That's why the tone changed completely with Moore so that there wouldn't be direct comparisons made and they ramped up the tech and innuendo to give audiences a quick thrill rather than having to think about the plots too much.
