As far as the commercials, the PC commercials annoy me a lot more than the Mac ones. Mac are at least some what funny, these aren't and the people are annoying.

I agree that the PC commercials are lame, but the Mac ones irritate me as well.

Oh no, the PC is in a suit and the Mac guy is hip!!!! OMG I NEED A MAC!!!

Guess what Dean, when I go to work I put on big boy clothes, not a flannel shirt and metrosexual skinny jeans. The PC commercials are boring while the Mac commercials are appealing to a group of clowns that I don't ever want to belong to. Each has a degree of truth (PCs have security flaws, Macs are for hipsters, and Macs are expensive), but both have an extremely douchy way of expressing it.

We need a law that each commercial break includes at least one "Real Men of Genius" ad.

You'll be fine for the most part on any computer as long as you don't go looking for trouble.

I agree, when those Mac's commercials first came out I thought they were pretty funny (I'm a PC guy all the way), but they have gotten more annoying and less funny over time.

I dunno. I thought they got a nice little boost when Vista came out and they were able to rag on it.

That's like picking on the fat weak kid in the class. Vista was enough of a joke on it's own, Apple kicking it while it is down wasn't exactly reaching very far creatively.

I like Macs, I just think Mac owners are among the most annoying and pretentious people in the world. A lot of them brag about Macs without even really knowing why they may be better. They just want to be a part of the in-crowd.

I have never gotten the big deal about macs. Unless you like to edit video and use the Macs for what they are originally intended for, I do not see how someone can justify spending $1k-$2k more.

Do macs have some superior word processing software? I mean college students who spend $2k on a mac are going to use it to get on facebook and type papers.

I like Macs, I just think Mac owners are among the most annoying and pretentious people in the world. A lot of them brag about Macs without even really knowing why they may be better. They just want to be a part of the in-crowd.

I have never gotten the big deal about macs. Unless you like to edit video and use the Macs for what they are originally intended for, I do not see how someone can justify spending $1k-$2k more.

I agree, especially with college students that literally use microsoft word and get on facebook. Why do you need to spend that extra money to do those two things?

The OS alone is tons better then what MS has to offer, also why not get of both worlds with a Mac when you can install Windows on a Mac. You aren't able to do this on a PC. So in the end Mac's have a lot of +'s.

I agree that OSX is a lot better, but I also think that Vista gets killed when it's really not bad. I haven't crashed, had viruses, etc. All the stuff the Mac vs. PC ads talk about I don't experience...

I just know that I couldn't run solely on OSX, since a majority of the world runs Windows and a lot of software and whatnot is available for that only. If I could, I'd buy OSX and dual boot in a heartbeat, but I'm not willing to pay Apple's premium on their hardware, and that's just a personal decision.

The horse that those commercials have been beating has long been glue now. Yet they still beat it. They were kinda funny and fresh when they first started them. Just another case of over use.

I never had the problems with Vista that people claim. Not to say there weren't issues because I know there were. I only use the 64-bit version though so that might have something to do with it.

probably because they like the OS better. Plus Macbooks are a much better quality than anything else.

Not really an opinion at all. They do different things better or worse than each other. It really depends on what the user wants and needs.
